    • Works well. Design allows it to be placed in corners of a room.
I have two different units and while I find my other one a bit more spacious, this produces slightly higher temperatures and gets me to sweat much more. Build quality is about the same with all these units. Worry area is the zippers but won't know longevity until they eventually snag or break (thus far they're holding up like champs). I'm torn between which unit to keep and giving my brother the other one. I do like the angled entrance of this one a bit better, though it does, as a result, reduce food placement if you plan on looking outside. I'm 6' tall and my toes touch the wall unless I turn the super-low chair so I'm facing sideways. Taller people may have issues with this. This is a one-person unit. Anyone looking to fit two people simultaneously will need to be standing and better not have claustrophobia. ... show more

Overall, I like this and it works well. It took about 20 minutes for the the 'sauna box' to start generating any steam in the tent, and another 8 minutes after that before it started generating any heat. Next time I use it I now know to turn it on 30 minutes before I intend to use it, then reset the timer for the duration I want. As I was intitially setting up the frame I was dissapointed with the thin walled metal tubes and plastic joints that made a wobbly frame, but not to fear, when you get the tight and heavy tent on the frame and it locks everything together and you now have a solid tent. There is not much room in the tent and a couple of times my heel touched the tube going to the steam generator and it is hot. Somethings that will make your time more comfortable is a taller backed chair so you can lean back and relax, a timer and a thermometer in the tent so you know what is going on, how long you have been there etc. The unit has a remote control but as the acual main unit is on the floor, outside the tent and around the corner you cannot see what is going on.     • Worth every penny!
I will be the first to tell you, I had low expectations for this when I originally ordered it. I thought a portable sauna? Sounds gimmicky. It has to be hard to put together. Absolutely not. The directions are easy and even without them its pretty obvious what goes where. The first time took the longest - maybe 15 minutes ,but that was because I wanted to go slow and step by step. Then I thought, ok this cannot get that hot. Wrong. This heated up to well over 100 degrees and quickly. Lastly I thought there could be no way this holds steam. It probably leaks all over. This mat they give me to put under it is going to be soaked. Wrong again. It stayed bone dry. The only moisture outside of the sauna was when I stepped out dripping with sweat. The chair included is nice to sit down too. It windows, which are a nice touch, so you're not sitting in a pitch black sauna. The remote control functioned as it should. It runs on a preset 45 min timer but I can adjust to my liking. Drying it off and taking it down after use was a snap. It comes with a bag for the poles and one for the sauna cloth so easy storage. I had been hurting so bad from stress I could barely turn my neck and after some time spent in the sauna, I could move again. I highly recommend it. ... show more

I love a good steam sauna, but sometimes it gets to be too much to add it on to the end of my workout at the gym so I wanted to give something like this a try. Low cost, portable, and if it was terrible no harm done. I was a little intimidated when I unboxed it looked like a lot of parts, and the diagram was a tad confusing at first, but when I took a deep breath and actually looked at it, it was simple. Had the entire thing together and ready to go in about 5 minutes. Don't get overwhelmed by the number of pieces. Hooked up the steamer connection and turned it on and the tent was hot in about 10 minutes. I would let it heat up before getting in the sauna unless you just want some quiet time. Overall very happy with it. Love the fact that I can get a good steam and a shower in about 30 minutes now. Would recommend. ... show more

I really like this portable sauna. It is bigger girl friendly. It does not feel like you're going to have a panic attack from the size, it actually gives enough room to move around and still be ok. The material is well made and it goes on easy with the poles that is included. I also love the included seat. It does fit even the bigger girls without worry that it will break. The only thing I would strongly suggest- don't use this inside. It gets very steamy and it will lead to a mess when trying to clean it up and that is stuff you don't want to worry about inside.
