  • Safe and ReliableThe pool cover pump contains an smart temperature controller with thermal overload protection inside, when the motor temp. reaches 105C/221F, the pump will automatically shut down. However, even if the pump triggers the thermal overload protection, it can work again after cooling down. The automatic on/off and thermal overload protection helps prevent dry burn damage to the pump. AgiiMan sump pump can be left unattended to remove standing water all winter long without worry.

My husband did quite a bit of research before buying this particular pump. It has never worked properly. The auto on/off does not work and he has to go out ( usually in the rain) and manually turn it off and on. For months now, he has emailed back and forth with the vendor/company and has jumped through all their hoops sending multiple photos and videos showing the pump and problem. They stopped responding and did absolutely nothing to repair, replace or refund for this faulty pump. Let me say this: My husband is an electrical engineer and this is definitely not user error. This is a faulty pump from a company that will NOT stand by the product or uphold its supposed warranty. My advice: Don’t buy this pump or anything else from this vendor/company as they are not reliable and their warranty is apparently worthless. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give this company. Edit: photo added this morning after a rainstorm last night. Pump was plugged up but never came on. Piece of junk from an unreliable company. Let me add that in the last email conversation, they said they were going to replace the pump. That was almost 2 months ago and they will not respond to any further emails. ... show more

Delivered the morning of hurricane arrival. I threw it on the cover with the base and attached a garden hose in a frantic. After hours of rain the pump was nearly underwater but kept pushing water out. It wasn't able to keep up with the downpour but the reliability kept it running while submerged. An hour after the rain stopped, the top was mostly clear and above dangerous heavy water levels. I really like the base and how heavy it is, to allow the water to flow towards it. Pump description text is inaccurate - Good response from AgiilMan customer service. Seller should revise text. Advertised in text as 5/8 inch water level activation and pumps down to 1/3 inch . (Look at ad pictures that show the real parameters). Actual activation at 2-1/8 depth (that's 17/8 inches!, check the math) see arrow on label in photo. Pump stopped when water was below 1 inch. A good strong pump, that works fast, but not the choice for draining low-to-dry on a flat surface.     • Anti Siphon valve thread dimensions TOO small
The media could not be loaded. Pump pumps strong. Adapters to connect the anti siphon valve are so far out of dimension that you can push them together without threading. Even with an 8th of an inch of thread tape wrapped around them the pump just spits out the valve. Save the one from the old pump or buy a different valve that actually screws in tight. ... show more
