I'm a journeyman electrician and use this quite often and it jumbles around a tool box often. So it is fairly sturdy but that dreaded loose 1/8 gap that developes at the top has already happened. I've owned this a couple of months now but thats kinda quick to start happening, the magnet works great and is fairly good on standout, not quite a fat max which I find to be the best standard, but considering it's half the cost, it does pretty well and can't complain ... show more

This is a nice tape measure I only opened at max 13 feet but it pulls back in fast and locks nicely .. and measurements display clearly showing 1/8 - 1/4 - 1/2 - 3/4 .. in real numbers .. heavy duty rubber body ... This is the best one I ever owned 😲

Magnets fell out within a week. Blade pretty flimsy but still works ok

    • Tape twists sideways after a few feet. Magnet on end of tape is very weak. Doesn’t hold tape up
Tape twists sideways after only a few feet out. Magnet is not that strong either. Pulls right off the metal. I would go for a more popular brand. I only tried this one to have a different tape in the job then everyone else. Would not recommend

    • Magnet is very very weak
I bought this because it was “magnetic”. Please don’t waste your time if this is important. I needed it for measuring steel shelf distances. I tried all day, not once did it firmly stay in place. Tape measure only seemed sturdy.
