These are a fantastic rendition of GPNVGs! Please note that these are NOT real night vision goggles. They do not allow you to see in the dark. Real panoramic night vision costs in excess of $40,000. This is a PROP. They have no function and don’t light up, which is absolutely okay. They match the real dimensions incredibly well and are very light. As with any night vision, I’d still recommend that you buy a separate counterweight as the provided battery box doesn’t have any counterweights in it. You are unable to see through the tubes, but it gives you an incredibly cool panoramic distortion effect which mimicks the field of view of the real NODs. They’re also priced incredibly well at only ~$50. The kit does NOT include a mount, and you’ll have to buy it separately. All in all, this is a fantastic prop for any military cosplayer’s arsenal. ... show more

These do not provide clear vision and are not actual NVGs. If you want them for cosplay, these are perfect. If you expect functional NVGs, read the description further next time

I was SUPER hesitant to order because of the reviews. I ordered the helmet and the connector piece on Amazon as well, and they work great together. They are solid and heavy, great quality. They aren't real and can be used for costume.

The only indication that these are "pretend" and will not actually work is the word "cosplay". If you are buying this as a gift for someone and have no idea what "cosplay" means you would have no idea these do not actually work. Even better this junky company does not allow you to return them thus leaving you with a $50+ piece of garbage. ... show more

The least they could have done is make them have the ability to see thru them. Even the battery case is just an empty container. I understand they're just for fashion but they sh'd atleast be funtional to view through. I urge any customer not to waste their $$$ on them. Regrettable purchase !!!!
