  • Great Gift

I recently purchased the solar robot kit for my son. The AESGOGO STEM 12-in-1 Solar Robot Kit is a fantastic educational toy for young inventors. It allows kids to build 12 different types of robots, sparking creativity while teaching the basics of solar power and engineering. The instructions are clear, though younger children may need some help with assembly. What makes this kit stand out is its reliance on solar energy—no batteries required! This encourages hands-on learning about renewable energy. The variety of models keeps kids engaged, though some of the more advanced robots can be tricky to put together. Overall, it's an excellent tool for encouraging STEM learning in a fun, practical way. ... show more

I lifted this to my nephew. He instantly started assembling it. He's around 8 years and quality is great. Very educational content and there were no missing parts .

Update. Got this second one. This motor lasted a bit longer, but not even for a day. These things are a piece of crap. Such a fun idea, but it doesn't work. The gears wouldn't stay lined up to turn later gears. So disappointing. These are such a fun idea. But my very detail oriented 8 yr old needs a lot of my help to do it. This is our second attempt, the first got sent back b/c the motor just stopped working before we'd even finished building the first robot. We got the gear box together, but had to take things apart at least twice to fix small things, which ended up breaking 2 of the little posts that hold the gear box together. Luckily, there are cover pieces that provide a secondary support so all is well, so far. The box says "8-12", but if you want your kid to do this on their own, they likely need to be 13+ and super detailed oriented. ... show more
