I live in zone 5/6. Started the seeds in the pods in the 1st week of April and had 6 inch plants in the ground by the 3rd week of April. They took well to the ground after growing them from seed in these pods and are currently growing happily (2nd week of May) at about 12-16 inches and rising. Very healthy looking. Received these with the stickers already on which I don’t believe is how they’re supposed to come? Also one of the pieces of growing medium was only a half piece. I replaced it with rockwool so its not the biggest deal. Great kit

This is a gift. Ot arrived tightly sealed as new. I shall ask my friend for any feedback and update my feedback. I gifted my friend an AeroGarden and she loves it and had great success. She intends to grow tomatoes, etc this time. I purchased these for her to start any plants she may choose. She likes to start plants for replanting unfortunately without success. I am hopeful she will have success using her AeroGarden perhaps between planting her AeroGarden with vegetables. I recommend them at this time and will update as I learn more ... show more

Ordered this kit to plant my own seeds from tomatoes I'd grown. Inserted pods, planted seeds, added water & plant food, then went to cover with grow domes, of which I discovered only 4 of 6 had been provided. Contacted customer service, requested replacements, which arrived probably a week after I'd planted the seeds. (In the meantime, used shot glasses.) This is my third time planting my AeroGarden, and overall, I can say it's easy to plant, easy to maintain (some cleaning required), but I've noticed there are a few other reviewers who also had similar problems with missing pieces with kits. (Probably worth doing inventory of all pieces before planting.) ... show more
