Company was quick to respond to may earlier review and wanted me to call back if any problems develop. They said they do quality control on their products and do guarantee them. Very good shelter quality, but not made for severe winters. Setup was easy with the help of a couple friends. Make sure to set it up exactly where you want it, because it's really hard to move after it's fully assembled. A heavy, wet Minnesota spring snowfall toppled it though. Water, snow, and ice tended to pool in the spaces between the supports and the weight combined with wind got to be too much. The ground was not perfectly level so that may have contributed to the collapse too. It was anchored solidly with ground screws so it couldn't tip over, so the poles had to buckle once the weight/wind got to be too much. I will say that customer service was very supportive and efficient. I messaged them with the attached picture. They said it was not covered under the warranty but they still sent me all of the necessary replacement poles for a very nominal charge so that I'm able to build it again. The winters here have been very hard on all similar tarp sheds and covers I've had so I wasn't surprised by the collapse. I wouldn't blame it on the quality of the cover because it was very good in comparison to others I've had. I would recommend this one if the snow/ice/wind doesn't get too extreme where you are, and especially because the customer service was easy and helpful. I corresponded with someone named Kelly who was understanding and eager to get me what I needed to get the cover back up again. ... show more

I added ratchet straps on all 4 corners to help stabilize as I leave it up for months at my river lot. After a month and a couple of storms, no problems. Very easy to put up!!

When the packages arrived, I was taken aback by the rough condition/appearance of both shipping boxes. It appeared as though the boxes were not new and had been opened and then re-taped back together on more than one occasion. The unit I received had several damaged pieces and some of the identifying stickers were worn and difficult to read which gave me the impression that some of the support leg pieces were not new. Additionally, the website description and the brochure that came with the unit described two totally different products. The website says the unit is used to protect outdoor vehicles/equipment however the brochure states that the unit "is for temporary use" and suggests taking the unit down during a storm which totally defeats the purpose of buying an as advertised carport/garage/shelter to protect a vehicle from outdoor elements. If these 2 points were listed on the website, I never would have purchased. Immediately, I started the Amazon return process. Per the instructions, I printed out the form, put it in the box and took it to a local, remote UPS shipping site. The two boxes were heavy and the freight cost to ship the unit back to E-Deck was rather expensive. When I contacted E-Deck to let them know I was shipping the unit back because the website and brochure descriptions were very different, they responded by stating that they could not include everything in their website description and that they only accepted return items if their unit was proven to be faulty. They then refused to reimburse me for the return shipping costs! So I do not have the unit and I have been stiffed on the return shipping costs. Oh well, at least I don't have to worry about taking down a garage that's protecting a vehicle each time there's a storm! Or maybe I could purchase a better quality unit from another company to put over E-Decks garage to protect theirs from a storm. I am a long term Amazon customer and I've been tremendously satisfied with everything and every company I've dealt with.....except for E-Deck! ... show more

The canopy has been up for 9 months now. It's pretty durable for CA west coast weather. The tarp cover fits the structure great and there are many tie-down grommets. The tarp withstood winds up to 60mph surprisingly. The structural pipes are fairly thin and may not support a lot of weight but that's not what they're meant for anyways. If the canopy is tied down securely, it should stand for a long time, like a few years. With that said, my canopy did get damaged in a recent storm but it was because I didn't secure it down enough. Regardless, the seller and the customer service representative, Milka, sent me free replacement parts. I only had to cover shipping. Their communication was great and I would not hesitate buying from them again. ... show more

This canopy did well for about 5 months. Then the ropes shredded apart and within one day one small breeze blew it over and bent all the pipes. If you are looking for something long term don’t waste your time.
