In my case, I lost 3 months of subscription time, because auto-renewal from 1 year of the order deletes, not extends remaining time on your Adobe subscription which is counted from activation time. Amazon does not care how long it takes you to activate your subscription with Adobe, regardless like in case of students time needed "VERIFICATION OF STUDENT/TEACHER required to activate" from the title of product and simply steals your money that are paid for a full year. So what happens if you activated month later, your Adobe account will show that you have 1 year from activation time. But Amazon has mandatory auto-renewal and if you think it will stay off as you turned off you are mistaken. Amazon will renew your Adobe subscription on the day of the order year ago and it will not extend the time you have remaining with Аdobe. It will be reset for you to lose remaining 1 month. What is even more abnormal that Amazon states "Existing subscribers must first complete current membership term before linking new subscription term" effectively violating its own warning. Very shameful practices that already has been exposed for years and no one at Amazon care. Customer Care on Amazon responded, the time of your purchase is the time your subscription begins. Subscription to what? I do not have access to Adobe software I bought for 1 year. All I have is access to Amazon purchase confirmation. Adobe customer care only sends you back to Amazon. In the chat, they told me nothing else to talk about. We go in circles and must disconnect. GOOD BYE! ... show more

I'd like to give this minus five stars if I could. Adobe refused to accept this code, and there doesn't seem to be any way to fix this.

I applied this subscription to my Adobe account, it works fine but Adobe kept requesting to update my CC and once I did, they charged me again for the subscription, overlapping the Subscription I've purchased from Amazon. 3 Hours with Adobe useless customer support did not help to resolve this.

Don't buy this on Amazon. It does not work for current customers at this time. The description specifically says you can use this as an existing customer, but even if you buy it after your current membership term ends, it still won't work. I've bought these previously because I prefer to buy them on Amazon, but this year it no longer works properly. I have tried twice to purchase this on Amazon and link it to my Adobe account, and both times it says it is linked on Amazon, but Adobe has no record of my payment to Amazon and they try to bill me for a new membership. I've talked to both Amazon reps and Adobe reps, and they are no help: neither understood what was wrong (even though, as other review show, this is clearly not a rare problem). Neither could fix it, and they both sent me to the other company which then had me repeat basic steps I had already done before contacting either company. Both Amazon and Adobe should be ashamed of this arrangement under which, if I hadn't cancelled in the 30-day cancellation window (which you have to read fine print to see), I'd have been out $200+. There's no excuse for this ongoing problem that reps don't even know about (there at least should be an internal help document or notes that explain to reps what is happening when they see this issue). Amazon and Adobe need to talk to each other to solve this problem instead of leaving their mutual customers in limbo losing huge chunks of money. ... show more

Adobe assured me I could wait until my current subscription ran out to activate this one. I waited 2 months until my current subscription was over only to find out that the offer was no longer active to get my software. Thankfully my friend, Jagadeeswari, was able to resolve the issue and refund the purchase, but not without an immense amount of panic thinking I'd lost ~280 bucks. If you have an existing creative cloud subscription, have Adobe delete your old / existing / expired subscription before linking your existing account with Amazon. I tried linking before hand, and that was not successful. Contacted Adobe and they were able to delete my existing, expired subscription. I then unlinked my adobe account from Amazon, cancelled my first order, reordered, linked accounts... And everything worked. It was a bit of a mess, but it all works now.
