  • WOW. It really works, and works well
I saw this product on amazon and got it as a gift through my wishlist. The technolagy utilized in this product(lenticular printing) is commonly used to make 3d or moving hallmark cards. The lens allows the each eye to see a sligtly diffrent picture, resulting in a 3d illusion. In order to use the frame, you have to install the included program on a PC. Then you use the application to select the object you want in the foreground. I recomend you set the depth setting to high. Then you print it out with a decent printer, crop it (unless you have a photo printer) and insert it into the frame. The results are eye popping. It was so cool, I must have shown to 50 people, each of whom wowed when they saw the picture. They all saw the 3D effect. You can not go wrong with this frame. ... show more

  • Clearly for personal fun
Product is as described. Software not up to date with most computers so you have to play with it. Still can't figure out how to get it to print the landscape picture due to no 6× 4 option print which could be my printer problem. But still playing with it. I did get one picture done and it looked cool. ... show more

  • Are you someone who enjoys being suckered?
If you enjoy throwing your money away then buy this garbage. I'm surprised to still see this con-job still on the market. Buy some NY Cheese or a porterhouse steak with that money. It is neither anaglyph or lenticular prints, just blurry prints good for the recycle bin.Nothing to show you not worth the digital space. Went strait to the recycle bin and tried to forget about it. Unfortunately it still haunts my dreams. ... show more

  • Simply didn't work.
This product is a fairly good idea, but the execution is poor. The software runs as a single three-step wizard: select a photo, outline an area to raise above the background, and print. Outlining only allows you to choose a single object and raise it to one of three preset levels above the background, which doesn't enable much variety. What's more, you're required to outline the object in a polygon, point-by-point; there's no Photoshop-style "magic lasso" tool here to outline the object by its colors. If you were hoping to use a pair of photos for a true 3d view, you won't get that from this product. The biggest disappointment came from printing, however. The options are very restrictive--you can only print your 4x6 photo on 4x6 paper, and you have to set it as such in the printer driver. It's not possible to print it on a letter-size piece of paper and cut out the correct region, for example. But all this is secondary to the biggest flaw in the system: The printout was not 3d when placed in the frame. This is presumably some sort of scaling problem between the software and my printer, but my printer is an HP 3745, which ought to be standard enough to work (albeit a little old, but then so is this software). After wasting several sheets of photo paper, I was forced to accept that this program was not going to work. One good point: The product did come with both portrait and landscape lenticular lenses, so if the system works for you, you can produce 3d photos in either orientation. This is offset, however, by the fact that a separate 3d frame is required for each 3d photo you wish to display, and since it comes with only one frame, the kit really allows you to print at most only a single 3d photo. Additional photos must either be swapped in and out of the frame, or else placed in additional frames which are sold separately. ... show more

  • Cheap
This thing is so cheaply made. I had to do a google search to find out how to even get it open because the flimsy clips on the back don't seem to want to slide open. Also the software doesn't work with newer operating systems including Vista. And, it is just a cheap piece of junk that looks like it cost about 5 cents to make. Very disappointed. You have to have your own photo printer/photo paper to print the photo. This is not a digital frame. ... show more

  • Gift from my son
I recently received this gift from my son who is in the military and stationed overseas. I'm sorry to say but I'm returning this gift (first time ever). The frame itself could not be anymore cheap and unappealing. For the price it is a cheap plastic not good quality at all. I would not recommend this product for the price. Very poor quality and not worth the money. ... show more
