Usually these clamps are purchased to be hung on a truss system horizontally. I took the opportunity to hang and use the clamps vertically on a speaker pole.

    • Great mounts but would be better with additional insert

These mounts are great for speaker poles or light poles. The only improvement I would ask for is for them to come with additional plastic inserts so they can be used on slightly different diameter poles. One set of poles I have are just shy of the 1.5” diameter and these don’t lock onto those poles. I used duct tape to thicken up the area where I put the mount, so no big deal, but a thicker plastic or rubber ring insert would help a lot. ... show more
