I love this bowl. However, there’s a couple things that I wished that would’ve definitely make this bowl even better. 1) it’s shallow. Although it’s pretty wide, I noticed that my dog’s food would easily spill more as he tries to work around the slow feeder. 2) there is no grip in the bottom. I wished it came with some kind of rubber to prevent the bowl from slipping on the floor. I just did a DIY with some extra rubber grips that I was able to put for this bowl. Because of the size, it requires 3 bowls per dog, BUT a bowl with these intricacies is not to be found anywhere else! I’ve been paying $100 a bowl for handmade ones on Etsy . With the slow feeding attributes found here, it takes months but they are no better. I have Giant Breed dogs , one who gobbles his food. To help protect from bloat, slow feeding is necessary. I like that these are elevated, that being said they are shorter than I thought they would be. They are also shallower than I thought, holds about 2 cups. I really like that they are ceramic and heavy duty. My husky would flip/ destroy the plastic ones with little effort.
