It has a great range of light for the dimness/brightness control, which was important me. The lamp takes up a small footprint in terms of total space, which was very important to me, as well. This was a breeze to assemble. It looks great. The original light bulbs are great - mine came with two. I swapped the bulbs for an Alexa compatible colored bulb, which is not quite as bright as the one that came with it. I love the brass finish. The glass is sturdy. Overall, this is a great piece. Doesn’t hurt my eyes when I’m up late reading and it isn’t too dim. Makes the living room look cozy. It is extremely sturdy and looks like an iron rod to me. It just has an impressive look to it and the price is unbeatable. I would prefer if it had a drawstring or button to push on the light itself but we don’t mind the push control on the floor. The size is alright too, a little taller would have been great but like I said, the glass fixture on it and iron rod is most impressive. 10/10 would buy again. ... show more
