It has a great range of light for the dimness/brightness control, which was important me. The lamp takes up a small footprint in terms of total space, which was very important to me, as well. We love this light. The glass fixture on it is quite charming and makes our living room look fancier than it actually is. The lighting itself is just right. Doesn’t hurt my eyes when I’m up late reading and it isn’t too dim. Makes the living room look cozy. It is extremely sturdy and looks like an iron rod to me. It just has an impressive look to it and the price is unbeatable. I would prefer if it had a drawstring or button to push on the light itself but we don’t mind the push control on the floor. The size is alright too, a little taller would have been great but like I said, the glass fixture on it and iron rod is most impressive. 10/10 would buy again. ... show more
