We love this light. The glass fixture on it is quite charming and makes our living room look fancier than it actually is. The lighting itself is just right. Doesn’t hurt my eyes when I’m up late reading and it isn’t too dim. Makes the living room look cozy. It is extremely sturdy and looks like an iron rod to me. It just has an impressive look to it and the price is unbeatable. I would prefer if it had a drawstring or button to push on the light itself but we don’t mind the push control on the floor. Love the seeded glass globe on this lamp! Matches my other light fixtures in my house. I like that it doesn’t take up a lot of room, which is what I needed! We don't particularly like that the on/off button is down towards the end of the cord, but we purchased a smart plug to use with Alexa and that problem was solved! I like this lamp. For the price it’s not bad. It’s very very simple and not much of a statement. But it’s also affordable. Previous to this lamp, I had a target floor lamp that cost me $90 and was wobbly. This one is a lot heavier and sturdier which I really appreciate. It looks exactly like the photos and could fit in a lot of different household aesthetics. I took off 1 star for 2 reasons. 1. The lamp is almost too bright. The LED light bulb it comes with is warm toned so I appreciate that, but it’s still very very bright (the review picture makes the light look a lot more cool toned than it is irl). 2.
