I read all these negative product reviews. And I came to the conclusion that they were all negative because the user had problems with the installation. I had absolutely no problem whatsoever installing the SSD drive. I purchased this drive at the same time I purchased the PS 5. I YouTube check how to instal then I installed the SSD drive before I ever turned on the PS 5. Had absolutely no problem whatsoever. What is the drive being excepted by the PS 5, it automatically formatted the SSD drive. Everything has worked perfectly. So far I am very happy with the product. ... show more

After 7 or 8 hours of use with 4 - 5 read or write threads, in a UGREEN M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure experienced overheating. Now on day two, after 7 or 8 hours with 4 -5 threads, it works great in a Sonnet Echo Dual NVMe Thunderbolt Dock (with fan). I have ordered a Thunderbolt 4 enclosure with a fan.

This ssd works great for the PS5. The read and write speeds exceed the minimum requirements for the system and you can't beat the reduced price for a 2tb ssd. Would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to upgrade their PS5 storage.

So I have a digital version of the P5, n I'm planning on investing on my entertainment system. I bought the V.R headset inzone H9, n the detachable duel shock. So I bought the 4tb S.S.D. Now it runs regularly, I can't tell the difference, but upon reformating to be compatible with P5 it said it has a read speed of 5,500mbs which is not what I expected because on the labels n pictures it says it runs at respectfully roughly at 7000 n lowest roughly around 6000. That's the only complaint I have about that, other than that I'm glad I bought it because it's 4tb n it's affordable n on discount can't go wrong with that. So far performance is good game's load up however fast they do, it's not slower if anything I believe it's better. Thank you for taking a moment of u're time to read this. ... show more

I read a few reviews before ordering this…let me start by saying it’s true mine was reading at 5900 MB/s. unless Sony was lying. Another great tip was to press the start button on the ps5 itself and not on the controller. I ordered the 4tb as we all know a simple game is not at least 50gb or more so just to be on the safe side. So far so good…all I had to do was pop it in and boot up my system and viola more space. ... show more

Took less than a minute to install. PS5 recognized at boot, format was quick and was able to increase and sort saves quick. No issues so far. Hopefully Sony allows for larger drives soon. No issues so far. Will edit if that changes.
