I gave this sauna 4 stars because of the quick and easy way to erect it. I don't have the ability or the budget to install a typical sauna, and this is very practical. This portable sauna gives me the flexibility to erect it when I need it, and I can quickly disassemble it when a tropical storm or hurricane is forecasted. It's such a nice way to make the neighbors jealous because some days they see it and then they're confused that it's no longer there, and then it appears again. LOL! I got this for my nephew to use when he's experiencing an anxiety attack. Prior to the arrival of this sauna, he would go to his mom's house, start the shower, and let the bathroom fill with steam. He would then stand/sit under the shower for up to an hour. This seemed to help calm him down, allowing him to focus and return to the moment. His mom would get angry because of the water bill and that this practice was causing her paint to peel from the walls. It caused many arguments between the two of them. I could see both sides and was at a loss to help them. Then I saw this. My nephew doesn't have a lot of space at his house, and the dimensions of this sauna allows him to use it in a couple of different rooms in his house. In the summer, he can set it out on his deck. It's quick and easy to set up and the steam starts within a couple of minutes. My nephew was so pleased he had tears in his eyes. He has thanked me so many times, as has his mother. I'm glad that the godmother in me came through once again! He said that it's more refreshing than a water shower, he feels the results quicker and feels the anxiety melting off of him. With his favorite mood music in the background, he enjoys using the sauna to bring balance back into his life. My husband was brought up with a backyard sauna and that's how they bathed growing up. He swears by the health benefits of sauna use. He enjoys using this as well. I have breathing issues, so it's more difficult for me to use, but some people swear it opens up the lungs and airways. So, lots of benefits for lots of reasons. It can't hurt and most people feel great afterward! This little portable unit does its job with a quick set up and quick steam delivery. I have always wanted a home sauna but don't really have any room I want to dedicate to a permanent sauna. My wife is also not fond of the idea of putting in a sauna. This was the perfect solution for me as I am able to put this up and use it quickly and put it away once it drys out. After reading the directions I was able to set the tent up in about 2 minutes. It will be even faster to setup since the steamer mechanism is now already setup. The steamer mechanism was easy to setup as well. I installed the bulk head that the steam tubing attaches to and hooked up the box that goes inside the tent. The other section of include tubing attached to the steam device and it was ready to use. I followed the directions and let the steam device heat up for about ten minutes and then got in. The heat level recommended may be a bit much for some people. The nice thing is it is easy to drop the temperature quickly by opening the flap on the door and adjusting the temperature on the steamer. The pictures show how much steam was in the sauna after 10 minutes. I really like this setup for a sauna that can be set up quickly I wish it could be taken down as quickly as it goes up. The only down side I have found is that it does not dry out as quickly as I would like with all the flaps open it took several days for the sauna to dry out. It did not mold or mildew while drying out though. I would recommend it. Keep in mind that it doesn't dry out as quickly as expected and it is fine. ... show more

I recommend this to people with sore muscles from hard work all day! Yes, it is a Sauna. Yes it has hot steamy air all around you. But it can be controlled so it is just right! Not too hot and not too cool! The warmth helps you muscles just melt the aches and pains away! I was skeptical, I always though a sauna was the last thing I would ever want if my muscles were tired from a workout, or a long day working! I was very wrong! When you're hot and looking to relax I thought 'go cool down'. Right? This personal sauna was so relaxing and felt so good to sit in after a long day! (Don't forget to stay hydrated!) And the best part is you can put this up and take it down anytime or where you want! After getting it out of the initial shipping box, it stores so well! It doesn't take up a ton of space, either! I am extremely happy with this personal sauna! It's helped make my winding down from an intense Physical Therapy something to look forward to!
