Although I really didn't need these because I hadn't even tried to take my lab puppy with me in the car because of safety reasons. But when I saw these and read all the great reviews on them, I decided to give them a try. They are made exceptionally good and Riley doesn't seem to mind that much while he is attached to one of these. It's nice to have an extra one on hand if I ever need to switch vehicles. These seat belts work great. We used them while traveling in our RV. We set up the dining both for sleeping except for the center cushions. We then laid out a thick blanket and put the dog bed on the table in the center. Then we fastened the dog seat belts to the seat belts on the dining booth. We only tightened it so that the dogs stayed on the dining booth. They were perfectly happy there and were able to snooze in their bed. The only thing that wasn’t perfect is the dog that seems to know how to release the belt. Lol!🤣. These are so sturdy I wasn’t worried they would break and the bungee was a nice feature. ... show more

This is an affordable way to keep your pup safe while traveling. I had always let my one pup sit free in the car with me but when I rescued another I realized that there was too much competition and action going on to drive safely. I ran across another car leash that I had forgotten about and realized I should have been using it all along. This one is a bit shorter and the other one also has a clip for walking but it really is too short for that. I like the price point on this one and don' think an upgrade is worth is. I also learned that dogs should never wear regular neck collars while attached to these because they could choke if in an accident.
