I never give a product 5 stars as I feel there isn't anything out there that's perfect. However, from the reaction that I got from my 6 year old when I turned these lights on, I just had to give these 5 stars! Out of the box, the battery compartment is a solid cylinder made of steel or aluminum. This mounts to the center of the wheel hub with a super thick rubber band/o-ring. The wired lights then weave through the spokes around the wheel. The instructions were easy to follow, and 1 set probably took me 5-10 minutes to install. When the lights are off, you don't notice the product is there. However, when the lights are turned on, my 6 year olds face lit up like it was Christmas! He was super excited, and couldn't wait to get on his bike and ride around town to show off his new bike. The lights are really bright, and makes his bicycle look like one of those hot rod cars you'd see at a car show with the neon lights underneath. We have both the orange and the purple, and I'd say the colors are true to the pictures, and are super bright and vivid colors! You won't be dissappointed. Beyond the fact that my son was super excited, and looks cool.... I feel safer with my son riding at night because his bicycle is much more lit up and should be noticeable to oncoming cars with these lights on his tires. We just installed these yesterday, so I'm unsure of reliability at this point. But I definitely give these a 5 star rating for coolness and safety. I'll try to come back and update once I know more about durability, but they do seem pretty solidly built. ... show more

We recently received one strand of orange LED Bike Lights. The installation was very easy, and the lights were installed in a few minutes with help from the easy-to-understand included instruction sheet. A video is also available on the company's website to help with installation for those who need it. Once installed, the lights are barely noticeable on the bike tire, until they are turned on. The orange lights are really bright and easy to see in both daylight and darker conditions. My daughter was thrilled with the lights. She had a great time riding around on her "new flashy bike". She enjoyed using the blinking light feature, which is turned on with a simple push of a button. Sure, these lights are a lot of fun, but to me, the safety is more important. My husband and I are both runners, and we sometimes run while our two children ride bikes beside us. We live in a remote area without street lights and we run and ride at dusk some days. It eases our stress to know that our children will be highly visible if a car drives down the road while we are running. ... show more

These lights are very bright and add a lot of color to the bike, which makes the rider both easier to be seen and more fun to watch. They are easy to install, but it does take a few minutes to untangle the wire. Once they are on, they can stay there as they are waterproof. To take them off and transfer them to another bike takes a little time. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that we don't use them very often because the kids aren't riding their bikes around at night very much and they aren't really noticeable during day time riding. That said, if I were commuting on a bicycle at night, I would want them as they really help illuminate the bike. ... show more

I put it on a town bike to increase visibility and just play with the lights. I collect LED flash lights and bike lights. This is 2 thin wires with small LEDs soldered on. The placement was good and the wire is flexible. No tape or zip ties were needed. It comes with 2 rubber bands, but you can use zip ties to hold the Battery case if bands are lost or it feels difficult to stretch them on with high spoke count wheels. 5 minute install. Kids can do it after a demonstration. Fun for the whole family. ... show more

My daughter had somewhat lost interest in her bike as of late. I installed these lights and she's suddenly loving going out for bike rides! The only problem I have is that she's constantly looking down to check out the lights rather than keeping her eyes on the road. She's also getting so many compliments and people oooh-ing and aaah-ing at her bike which is making her so happy. The lights are very bright. Installing wasn't super difficult, but I would say it wasn't super easy either. The problem being more on our end in that her bike was a small 14" one. With the tight spaces to work with, it was a bit hard to wrap the lights around the spokes. However, with a bigger bike and more space, I'm 100% sure it would be a lot easier. Compre estas luces para la bici de mi hija. Es una bici de adulto. 28 la rueda. Y no sirvió. Porque las luces son bien frágiles, el cable se rompe fácilmente durante la instalación. 2. El dispositivo donde van las baterías no tienen un buen sistema seguro para sujetarla a la rueda. Estamos hablando de una bici para adulto que se rueda rápido. Lo recomiendo para una bici de nene o nena que de seguro no va a ir ni aúna milla por hora y el dispositivo lo puedas sujetar sin miedo a que se caiga. ... show more
