With all the others I use once and then have to soak the nibs before I can use again because they clog up regardless of what I do to prevent that from happening. I bought a couple brands to try. This one is my favorite. The pens are actually fine tips and the paint is more paint, less gel. It takes time to dry, but that’s what I like. It actually looks like paint.

I ordered these to use for marking my queen bees. Once they are primed the paint comes out with even just a dab and the tips are thin enough to fit through the queen clip. Decided to use these on my frame tops as well. I mark the frame with a queen-color-coded dot as well to easily identify which frames of comb should be culled and rebuilt. ... show more

These pens worked amazing. One tip, do not shake them to 'stir' them with the cap off. They tend to leak out... other than that, these worked great for the multitude of surfaces I needed them for.     • Nice colors but the paint comes out too fast
I wanted a fine point for detail work. Unfortunately, these don't work for that. The paint comes out in a little pool and doesn't flow well.
