This was exactly what I was hoping it would be. I am an amateur guitar player who has practiced and sung along as I played at home with just an acoustic guitar with no amplification or microphone. Periodically my instructor holds potluck jam sessions with speakers, amps and microphones so students can get together to play and perform in front of others. Having to adjust to playing on an amp and singing into a mike after just playing at home without these was a real problem that threw me off and made the experience frustrating. I wanted to get something that would allow me to practice in the same way that the potluck performances are done and this unit appeared to be a way to do that and I've found that it does that very well. The separate guitar and microphone amplification channel system gives me the ability to play and sing along regularly at home as I do at the potluck get togethers and I now feel much more capable performing at those gatherings. The sound amplification works well for me in a single room for practice and gives a feel of performing more so than the unamplified sound of the acoustic guitar and voice alone. I have an amp for my electric guitar that I used with the acoustic prior to obtaining this unit but the sound was not very true for the acoustic and there was no microphone ability so I sought out something that would be better and like this very much. I had some questions when I first tried it out regarding respective sound levels for the guitar and mike and the seller was very quick to reply with suggestions and advice that enabled me to get what I was seeking. I've owned this unit for a little over a year. I must say that for the price, it's exceeded my expectations. Nice little combo to practice with at home and not upset the neighbors. Nice little work horse for doing small gigs, but don't expect it to be able to handle a larger room. You may want to upgrade the mic and chord that comes with the unit. Also the Bluetooth is nice to pair up with my phone to just listen to some music. Nice and portable and lightweight. ... show more

This a very clean tone amplifier!. A great value and extremely clean tone with no distortion. Plenty of power for small venues and practice. . Easily transportable and rugged. Very well made. Independent Reverb on both channels. Second channel is great for backing tracks as is the blue tooth connectivity. Interfaces easily USB with a computer for recording. The design is very good and the build is very solid. A very good value and ironically a very clean tone amplifier. I plan to use a second unit in tandem to create a chorus effect. The media could not be loaded. The more I use it, the more I like it. Compact clean sound this guitar amplifier is definitely a pleasure to use. MAN, I love the look! I use it for keyboard, vocals and guitars its portable one stop solution for a gig or daisy chain (MUST HAVE THAT FEATURE) great range without distorting this inexpensive amp does not disappoint me or my band. I have used lots of gear like this and its just a pleasure to use something this high quality design and execution at an approachable price point. As everyone has said here. The amp is great and comes with decent built-in features. This is the one to get at this price point, beats out the fender acoustasonic 15 and the acoustic brand a15v. If you want a better acoustic amp you should spend more money. Also as said by others. The included mic and mic cable are not good, only useful for checking to make sure the mic channel is working (so I geuss from that aspect it's a nice gesture?). Replace with a shure sm58 and balanced mic cable and you'll have the perfect coffee shop rig. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. For many years of playing the acoustic guitar, I didn't really feel a need for an amp. But recently, after seeing a few open mic nights, I felt inspired. Great fun to play and sing into a mic. People complained about the included mic, but my new Shure mic isn't much better. Yes, turn up mic side, gain, and sing and inch away from mic. Many people do that. Anyway, I love this amp. Sounds great, good reverb and chorus effect! I bought a speaker stand, 35mm hole is the size to get. It holds and elevates the amp.
