  • Effective, but no more so than just salicylic acid
This cream is advertised as 3-in-one. The one active ingredient they tout is salicylic acid 2%, which is available in a number of other creams and gels. Looking at the ingredients, I suspect the other active ingredients are zinc oxide and glycolic acid. Everyone's skin is different and it's possible that those ingredients are effective against acne for many, but for me this is no more effective than treatments with just the 2% salicylic acid, and many of those are transparent gels, not creams. So for me, this certainly works, but has no advantage over 2% salicylic acid alone. For you? Who can say. ... show more

  • Glo Therepeutics Healing gel is the best i have tried by far
Glo Therepeutics Healing gel is the best i have tried by far. It was out of stock, so i thought id try this one, because it got great reviews, it does not heal blemish marks or fade them like it says it does.

  • It's okay for some things
I didn't love this nor did my husband. I generally only get blemishes once a month or so and for me it worked okay. Not anything special but not a bad product at all for helping dry out and clear up the occasional annoying breakout. When my husband used it, his pores are larger and he's prone to a more oily skin so faces more serious pimples that strike at random, it didn't help him as much. It worked a bit but this didn't really do too much more than the usual stuff that doesn't claim to reduce scars and discoloration. I didn't see any of that for him and he sticks so a pretty strict face cleansing ritual so this was added in and used for quite a while. So, to wrap up, it seems to work well enough if you are looking mainly for the drying out property. It worked best on skin with smaller pores that isn't oily. The larger pored more oily skin was definitely much more resistant to this stuff. ... show more

  • definitely works, needs to be shaken, a little pricey
This product definitely works. When applied do a new pimple, it zaps it and skin is noticeably better the next day. I've seen this happen with this product many times. The consistency is a little uneven and I've found that I need to shake it before opening or it could be too runny. Seems a little pricey. I've used similar products (that have both salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide) that I think work just as well for less money and a nicer consistency. ... show more

  • Love and use it everyday!
Let me start off with that I tried so many other "anti acne" products on the market , and most of them left me with almost a burn and made my skin peel..I have oily skin and quite prone to acne , this product saved my life ! I started keeping it in my bag just in case I can take it to work , it doesn't leave any residue and use it under makeup or just on clean skin , doesn't burn or dry my skin! I love it love it love it ... show more

  • Not fabulous.
In essence, I have used better. My preference is salicylic acid in the form of a clear serum, which is easier to use than a cream when I am following the application with my usual makeup. Not bad. Not great.

  • Works well as spot treatment
I found that this worked well to target specific acne. It did not work as quickly or with the sensation that I get from Mario Badescu drying lotion. This seems to be more gentle. This acne spot treatment shouldn't be combined with other acne medicine. The instructions also warn against sun sensitivity. ... show more

  • I love that it doesn't dry out my skin and helps ...
I have sensitive skin that is acne-prone... I use this as a spot treatment on trouble areas before moisturizing each day. I love that it doesn't dry out my skin and helps heal the leftover marks from previous breakouts. It is gentle yet effective. I would recommend to anyone needing a little extra help with their anti-acne routine. It also won't stain your pillowcases like other products (if used before bed)! ... show more
