  • Excellent product, very strong and a great value for the money!
The seller gets an A+ for speedy delivery and an A-1 product. The instructions could have been a little clearer but all in all not hard to put together and really sturdy. When you don't have enough bedrooms, this is the go-to for extra bedroom space. Yes, I would highly recommend this product. Making the top bunk is a whole different thing. ... show more

  • Sturdy | Worth the money
I read the reviews on this product prior to buying and was slightly skeptical. Now having it, my kids love it and it took my wife and I 1.5 hours to construct. Directions are simple and easy to understand. Biggest piece of advice when building this, DO NOT TIGHTEN ANY SCREWS/BOLTS UNTIL ITS ALL TOGETHER. TIGHTEN EVERYTHING AT THE END. If you do this you will be fine. Also weight limit was of concern. I am 250lbs and my son is currently 60lbs and I have laid with him in the top bunk with no issues. ... show more

  • GOOD value Kind of Easy to put together.
The instructions could be more detailed as specific pieces have to go in certain directions and they don’t specify that or illustrate it either, sometimes you can tell by the illustration by the location of the holes what direction a piece should go, well these instructions don’t do that. They’re very basic and kind of vague. Either way I got it together after having to flip some pieces around, also the holes didn’t line up for the bottom support so I had to drill my own holes, as well as there were no bottom holes for the ladder even though it says put in 4 screws, so I had to drill those holes. Over all the bed is sturdy and so far good. Despite the challenges it wasn’t that difficult to put together. You need two people and also to be very careful not to strip the hex screws if using a drill and not the hex key that comes with it. They strip easy. ... show more

  • Sturdy!!
So, my fear is that a lot of people said it wobbles. Just turn the bolts really tight and it will come. Obviously, you can’t jump around and treat it like crazy. Everything breaks if you try hard enough. It was delivered to my house really early. And it wasn’t hard to install. The really only down side is the person who moves on top. You can feel it. Only down side so far. ... show more

  • A few months after…
Honestly. I threw it away a month and a half later, the bars were bending. It wasn’t as sturdy, too complicated to build . Honestly not worth it don’t waste your money. Especially if ur intending for adult/adult, it doesn’t hold it’s honestly a hazard for your safety if u sleep in it.

  • Making Top Bed Torturous
The ladder is killer on your feet unless you weigh less than 40 lbs. . I bought rubber drawer liner to wrap around the ladder steps, to pad them, then secured them with zip ties... both in black. Also, I didn't think about this till after it was put together, but you can't prop up your pillow on the bottom bed, like if you want to read or watch tv. Also, because both ends are open, with no railing, your pillow is susceptible to falling off the bed when you're asleep. Last... I absolutely hate hate hate making the top bed! Ugh it is sooo difficult. I use a step ladder and have to move it all around the bed with me. You have to lift the mattress on all 4 corners to put the fitted sheet on and since I'm not standing above the mattress, like I would with a regular bed, I don't have the strength or leverage to lift it up. It's also really a pain to tuck in a top sheet and a comforter or blanket. Every time I do this, I am chanting, "I hate this!!" the entire time I'm making the bed. We use the bunk bed for guests so we need the bed to be made... but if you don't care if the bed is made or not you don't have to deal with this. Just thinking about it gets me annoyed. ... show more

  • Great for my boys!
We had twin bunkbeds and as the boys are growing we’ve upgraded to queen over queen. It’s great for my boys (7 & 9yrs) and will likely take us through a few more years. I read some reviews stating that the metal ladder was rough on the climb to the top bunk. I disagree. Both my boys have zero complaints. Both myself (140lbs) & my husband (180lbs) have climbed up ourself and it’s not terrible by any means. Also for reference, holds both us adults on top as well. ... show more
