This has been a great bed for my sons so far. We've had it for a few months now. Its looks great and its sturdy. Only issue we had was the ladder bars were hurting my sons feet, but we just cut up some pipe insulation and placed them on the bars and happy feet again!

It’s beautiful. Came dinged with scratches/ scuff marks. Not sure if it was from the seller or the shipping. It was for my 60lb 10yr old. We kept the bottom as a couch for a week, but the thing sways and squeaks so much we dropped it to a bed hoping that would help. We’ve had it for about 6 months and she’s fed up. It squeaks every time she gets in/out of bed or rolls over at night. It rocks when she climbs the ladder and she’s terrified it’s going to fall down. We’ve tried tightening the bolts but it doesn’t help. The metal is just too thin for a bunk bed. You get what you pay for. I’ve had metal framed bunk beds but none this poor in quality ... show more

For the price, it really is a cool bunk bed. The seller was very helpful with any shipping inquiries and although it did take a while, the convenience of having it delivered is much better than picking up in store and/or borrowing a truck. Husband put it together in about 2 hours and our 7 yr old loves it. The color is very nice too! Yes, some areas are a little bit dinged but it was a very heavy package being sent from the opposite side of the country. It's a great buy! ... show more

Very satisfied with the customer service ACME provided. Product is great, I read all the reviews about people saying it was difficult to assemble and was not sturdy.....not true! My son and I assembled it in 1 hour and it is built well. Will be looking up ACME for the next one for sure.

    • What a waste of money and materials!

We bought this bed only about 6 months ago and it’s already unsafe to sleep in. No matter how often we tighten it, it squeaks and “bongs” with every movement. My daughter is only 100 pounds and the bed sounds like an elephant is rolling over in it. Plus, the stair rungs are super skinny and really painful on bare feet. We cut a pool noodle and taped it around the rungs which helps. Also, the futon mattress doesn’t stay on. It keeps sliding off when the bed is in couch mode so we just keep it flat, defeating the purpose of the whole unit. We are renting a dumpster in the spring and this is the first thing that’s going in. What a terrible waste of money and materials! ... show more

Screws constantly come undone requiring to retighten often. Delivered with scratches & paint messed up in several spots. Wobbles a bit much. You will need to tighten screws a lot.

The instructions were simple, Id say it’s very Saturday as my youngest climbs on everything and she is always swinging on the bed doing flips on the bottom of the top bunk, climbing on it and it holds pretty well just creeks a little. The futon mattress I ordered is pretty comfy and overall my kids love it so 💁🏾♀️ I say try it! ... show more
