Very easy to put together, comfortable and the surface is a smooth look I was going for. I'm including a pic of the instructions and a few close-ups of the chair legs and underside (where there is a zipper that contains the chair legs) so there are no surprises for you. I would have given this chair 5 stars, but I subtracted a star because if you are looking for a bright white (like I am), this chair does have a bit of a yellow tint to it when set up next to true white. See my pics. You can tell how yellowed it is next to the white nightstand, rug and bedding & headboard. Would be a deal breaker for me if I didn't have another room to put this chair in, so I guess my search for the perfect TRUE white chair will continue. EDIT / UPDATE: I've had this chair for about a year now and never moved it out of the room with all of the true white. This chair is a perfect accent chair to any room. It looks so much more expensive than the actual cost. It's beautiful, comfortable and looks high end. The material does not look like fake, shiny "pleather". It is very white, and it has a nice sheen but NOT SHINY. I highly recommend

I liked the overall appearance of this chair. However, it's currently in my daughter's room with no legs on it. One of the legs was missing the bolt and washer to attach it to the chair. There was also a staple sticking out of the back of the chair. I had to remove it before someone got hurt. I really wanted to like this chair. :( I sent an email through Amazon to the seller asking about replacement parts and I did not receive a response. ... show more

I had pretty low standards for what I needed chair, pretty much being 'something I can sit on for a given period of time and be somewhat content'. This chair hardly passes that, given it hurts my lower back horribly in about five minutes. I thought it'd be fine since some comments mentioned it was stiff, and stiff can be remedied with pillows and blankets. But stiffness isn't the problem. This chair eats people. Obviously not literally, but the springs are so spongy that when I sit on the chair, I'm not so much sitting on it as I am sitting in it. Which given that I'm average sized, most people who sit on it will likely experience the same thing. Unsurprisingly, this chair has become the Laundry Chair. Which is fine, but not worth the ~$150 I spent on it. It looks fine as a decoration. Does a good job passing as higher quality than it actually is. But I didn't want a decoration. I wanted a functional chair, and this chair is not that. ... show more

I bought one of these a month or two ago and was completely thrilled! However, I purchased a second one, and unfortunately the quality varies. The second chair has some significant puckers in the upholstery and some of the padding near the arms is not flat/bunched up. This makes it look much cheaper and tacky. I am sad, but at least it wasn't a major investment. I will say that the second chair came with better legs! The first chair had cheap plastic legs, but the second one came with heavy wooden legs. They look similar side by side, but the second chair has slightly different feel to the vinyl upholstery. It also seems to not be as deeply tufted, which may hearken back to the craftsmanship of this batch. If you have chemical sensitivity, I would let this chair "outgass" in another room with ventilation for a few days. The smell is very strong. They are not *difficult* to assemble, except lining the backrest up with the seat cushion can be tricky. Once you have it lined up, it just clicks into place. From what I can tell, this isn't reversible. Which is why I don't think I can send the second chair back. The size on these is exactly what I wanted. They are small, but the seat area is large enough to accommodate a bigger person. I can curl up sideways. The armrests are not as comfortable as my other arm chairs, but not painful either. I like the upholstery, it does resemble leather, and the first one had beautiful construction. ... show more

I bought two of these chairs. Just as others have noted, the left front leg failed on one of them. The wood where the leg screws in has been stripped out. We are going to glue in some small dowels and then drill a new hole in hopes of fixing this. The second chair still seems ok. The price was good at $112 each and the chairs are comfortable if though slightly under padded in the seat area. They look nice and are sized for a condo space. The vinyl upholstery is holding up well. Except for the leg issue, I would recommend. Update: we used a “fine” dowel (1/8”) I think and cut pieces about 2” and glued them in the hole in the chair. After drying we clipped off the excess and then drilled a new hole (the issue with the old hole is that it wasn’t drilled on center). We then screwed in the leg to the newly drilled hole and it seems solid. ... show more

Love this! Wow. Just as pictured. Looks even a lil', wider..which is great..not a child chair(hate that)..and what do ya know? Biggest shock? It is comfortable!!! And, was SO easy to assemble!!! I'm very happy with my chair purchase..just wonder how long until my 3 cats ruin it..then again those lil buggers..are so funny..just wish they wouldn't scratch al my new furniture. ... show more
