Perfect fit for my 2000 Camry. It seems to be a very high quality item. I appreciate the fact that it was packaged in an extra heavy duty AC Delco cardboard box. I've bought other automotive parts where the box was so flimsy, the part arrived damaged.

Faulty ground - Installed and needed to jump the battery since the old alternator brought it down to ~11v output. When jumping it melted a set of jumper cables and killed the old battery. Ended up costing me a new battery/jumper cables. Auto parts store confirmed faulty ground. Unfortunate, returned. I'm sure it worked well for some, but I got a bad one. ... show more

    • Works great with my Toyota 3SGTE GEN4 engine
I installed this alternator in my Toyota 3SGTE GEN4 engine. It has been working great for the last few months. I had to drill out the threads since I needed to attach it to a fixed bracket. The alternator idle pulley is what adjust the belt tension on my configuration.
