We installed this access cover over an unattractive recessed electrical junction box. The cover did not come with screws so I used some small white ones that go nicely with the cover. This cover is simply a flat piece of high quality plastic with rounded corners and a hole in each corner. I thought about buying a piece of plastic and cutting it myself, but this was easier and worked very well. The cover is not particularly rigid and our wall was not perfectly flat so there is a very slight gap on one edge. We have not painted it because it looks fine with our wall color. This cover did seem expensive for what it is, but it saved me some work and looks very nice. ... show more

This access panel work perfectly in our bathroom. We had to get our shower/tub pipe replaced, along with adding shut off valves, we didn’t have an access door, so the plumber had to cut the back wall of the shower/tub area. We purchased this panel to allow easy access to the newly installed shut off valves. It fit perfectly. It was easy to install. Just 4 screws and the hole is gone. My only negative comment about this is, it’s a little flimsy, you would not want to lay anything heavy against it. Works perfect for us. ... show more

Although this is sturdy compared to others, its overpriced for what it is. Difficult to open and close. I gave up on getting the door to fully close because Im scared of breaking it.

Sloppy workmanship. The hole pattern is rotated by about a half inch or so. I mounted the plate level, so the screw pattern is not level. Great if you want to look like an idiot. The holes were too small anyway, so I had to drill them out. I really wish the plate had come with no holes at all.

It’s a flat piece of plastic with no instructions or examples of how to mount it. It is not an easy an easy close and open access panel. I would recommend a hinge or Siri f type for easy accessing. Not worth the money.
