This would be a great chair if the back was was taller, you just cant get comfortable with the back only going up half of your back and i'm only 5'-10". if the back was taller i would give it 5 stars.

This is my main chair for me at the kitchen island. Picture doesn't look like it's comfortable, but it is. The only issue I can see is that when not anchoring yourself to something the chair will slowly begin to rotate. Probably not the chairs fault, but my hastily assembled house back in '62. Assembly instructions could offer some text to explain some things other than assuming a mechanical moron can figure out what the manufacturer had in mind with no text to steer them in the right directions. ... show more

We ordered 2 originally. One was perfect but the other one wouldn’t stay up if lifted. I put a note into the seller several weeks after delivery because the holidays and travels had me delayed in reporting. I assumed I wouldn’t get a response and I was stuck with one that wouldn’t work very well. I came home soon after and a complete brand new barstool was at my house. The replacement looks great but it doesn’t allow it to stay up when you lift the seat. Normally large items are a pain to deal with if any issues but this seller was excellent and stood behind the product. Now I have one that works perfectly, a replacement that is still messed up (looks like a manufacturing defect where the welding on the pole is too large and breaks the suction seal so the height won’t stay.). It's a solid stool, very easy on and off; love the wood and leather combination - rich and luxurious. High quality materials were used and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one, if I needed one. These are great barstools for the price. The assembly was easy, but I did run into a bit trouble with one not going up and down. Customer service was terrific. A few emails and phone calls back and forth determined the problem and the replacement part was on the way. Instead of me having to pack up the whole chair and send it back they just sent the replace part. When it arrived I installed it and the chair still didn't work. Hmmm. Another call to customer service and a completely different part was on its way. The one they sent worked, but in my description of the problem I didn't mention the lever under the seat wasn't catching so that part was sent. Now my chair is perfect. My greatest satisfaction with this purchase is the customer service. They were terrific. The chairs look great and function perfectly. Thanks so much. ... show more
