This is a very nice comfy. and warm duvet insert. I am using it at the momentt as my comforter but it really is an insert. Its very warm, sometimes I actually have to take it off my legs and feet because they get too hot. It’s very soft material and fluffy so if it were in a duvet it twoul dreally puff up the duvet nicely. The color is a bright white which most of them are in this price range. Why I don;t know I guess so it doesn’t show thrrough if you have a light colored or patterened duvet cover. I have been buying these over the past several years when I see them on the sale that allows you 14 minutes to buy if you’re a PRIME MEMBER so I replace the ones that might be getting a bit bea up. This has improved the quality of my life:) This insert is squishy cuddly cloud like comfort I hardly can describe. Im sensitive and it makes me so comfortable I tingle. I’m so happy I took a chance. Double thrilled as the price is affordable and I got a winner the first try ! I aired it out when it arrived even though it smelled just fine. I run an air b and b. These comforter covers are perfect. I change the covers every time I rent and these are light and manageable and when on the bed look and feel very luxurious. I appreciate the price because I need to stock quite a few.

In the past, my king sized duvet insert was too small for my king duvet cover, at least 8 inches too short. This brand's California King insert is 2 inches longer than my kind duvet cover, but fits perfectly! There is a smell to it. I only washed it in cold water once at the laundry mat, in hindsight, I should have washed it twice. I don't know if that would have helped or not. The smell isn't too strong once it is inside the duvet cover. However, I don't sleep with my duvet on my bed, so I am not smelling the duvet all night.
