So i have a '22 Civic SI and i wanted to move away from the stock shifter. When you see this shifter right out of the box, it looks small. Do not be deceived as it is the PERFECT height for the car. It transforms the shifting experience to a more casual and laid back one. Short throw shifters are actually not fun and they make you somewhat anxious to shift quick and fast. This allows you to smoothly shift with enough torque to get into gears very smoothly. Quality is actually really great for the price point.     • It’s nice, but poorly assembled.

Looks nice, looks great in my car. Installation is easy, but the sturdiness of the product is crap. Let me explain: it’s 3 pieces, plus the screw holding it together. Imagine a toilet paper roll, a top piece and a bottom piece, and a screw going into the bottom piece going all the through into the top piece where the threads are. This eventually completely fell apart when the screw came loose. (Which was less than a month of use) The top and bottom piece I believe are just snug fitted(maybe a bit of glue?) When I brought it inside, there was grease inside, Which I believe is why it didn’t hold together. I cleaned it up and used JB Weld on the top and bottom pieces, the screw hole and the threads. It’ll probably never fall apart again haha. The item is nice, the construction is nice, it’s just poorly assembled. I’d suggest taking it apart and doing what I did before you install it. ... show more

I absolutely love it ! I can reach it better since it’s taller n shifting for me is a lot easier. I’m 5.3 n where my shifter is in my fiesta the original shift knob it came with was small n I was hard to find the gears sometimes but I test drove today with this new shift knob n works great I can reach it n find gears was easier n faster n more smoothly I highly recommend especially for those who are short n can’t reach very well plus gives it very stylish look to the central console! ... show more

Doesn’t feel overly cheap. Bought as a replacement knob for RZR but doesn’t work very well for that job. That isn’t a knock on the product just a heads up if you’re looking for the same.

I put this on an industrial truck, as the lever end for a Bartlett Lift 5th wheel hoist, in an Ottawa truck. The truck came from the factory with a cheap round knob, and I wanted a longer handle for more leverage, as that control gets continual use during operation. Had some initial doubt as to the durability of the plastic inserts, in an industrial use. The post it went on is a standard 1/2", 18 threads-per-inch coarse thread. The largest adapter was very snug, going onto the post. Had to be careful to start it threading onto the post straight, and not crooked. Once it started on, I had to get both hands on it, and really reef on it, to get it to cut threads into the plastic, and get it thread all the way. I can likely back it off, if I ever need to, but probably won't. It's very sturdy, and I'm pleased with it. ... show more
