    • Nice Shift Knob. Terrible Directions
The directions basically tell you to remove the factory shift knob by turning counter clockwise, install the nut and tighten it all the way down, thread in and tighten the shift knob until it stops. If the shift pattern does not line up, adjust the nut and try again. I did the above, and all it seemed to do was change the height of the shift knob. Every single time, the shift pattern was backwards, with 1 and R facing the rear of the car. I watched a youtube video demonstrating the same brand, which said to do the following: 1. Install and tighten the nut all the way. 2. Pull up the reverse lock-out collar and shift to reverse. 3. Add blue loctite to the shifter threads 4. Install and tighten the shift knob all the way down. If the shift pattern does not line up, unscrew until it does, and leave for several hours to cure. I left mine overnight. I did the above, and the shifter knob is now properly aligned, is held in place by the loctite and does not rotate. If I did something wrong, I'd be happy for the manufacturer to correct me, but this worked for me. ... show more

Love the look of this and the quality is great. The underside is completely hallowed out. I didn't expect this. The ball sits lower on the gear selector stalk than I anticipated, but it's not a huge deal. Clocking this to be correct was a bit tricky, but not a huge deal. A little fiddling and some blue LocTite did the job. 10/10 worth the money, would probably buy another for new projects ... show more
