Be aware this canopy isn't very tall - we ordered the 12x12 with netting, and it's shorter than our 10x10 canopy. The picture showed the sides were 6.9 ft tall, but I'm 6' tall and needed to duck under the top. The edge the top cover came down to my chin area. If that's ok with you then everything else seems great. This is my 2nd purchase of the ABCCANOPY pop up canopy in the 8 x 8 ft Base / 6 x 6 ft size. This basically has the same set up as those blue E-Z Up canopies that you see at farmers markets. First thing to note! This canopy does NOT stand very tall. At the highest point it is about 6 ft so you will not be able to tall underneath this sun shade. The purpose of this smaller sized canopy is for sun shelter will sitting in a beach chair, lying on a towel, or maybe even covering some pool loungers. I specifically sought out this size because I wanted a 2-3 person pop up canopy that was lower to the ground to provide more shade and a smaller footprint since we're not a big party at the beach or pool area: 1) Like others have done in their reviews at the beach, we push the back legs deeper into the sand so the back is full shaded with the rear curtain, and you also get a nice anchor if there's some wind. 2) It perfect covers 3 pool lounge chairs, so we bring it to the community pool with us so we can get some consistent shade BUT also don't want to rudely take up too much real estate since it's a shared pool area. 3) It's not too heavy to carry with the backpack straps, but my fiance likes to use the integrated wheels on the carry bag. 4) You can absolutely pop it up and break it down with one person. First, this is perfect for the beach, I have brought it a few times and once even on a windy day. While other tents were being blown around, this tent stood up strong! It is extremely spacious, I love that the walls pop out, giving you more indoor space. There is a front opening to allow air flow. It comes with stakes so you could stake this down in sand, grass, etc. I have only used it at the beach but I plan to bring it to family gatherings! You don't have to mess around with poles or anything, it literally goes up and comes down in seconds!!! SO EASY that one person could do it by themself. We bought this canopy for our beach vacation. Most of the canopy comes without side wall whereas we were looking for something that has at least one ball and finalized this. It was delivered on time. This comes with the installation manual. The installation is straight and simple. Took us 12-15 mins to put it together on the beach and 10 mins to dismantle it. Side wall is bonus and helps. The canopy really great because it shades you from both the bugs and sun. There was actually surprise at how easy it was to set up. Other canopies I have had in the past I bet a lot more complicated. I loved this thing. I was always asked where I got it and how much it cost me. People were always impressed, as was I. It brought a new ambiance to my 2nd floor rooftop patio. Size was correct (10x10, I see other reviews where the smaller one is inaccurate), easy to assemble. Some of the Velcro didn't line up perfect, but it didn't affect much. Never had an issue with water leakage. So not being able to stake this in, I relied on the sand bags. I will say most of these split at the seams in a short amount of time, so next time around I would reinforce the sand inside with a plastic bag. I also knew the risk of any wind, so I would stalk the weather and simply remove the roof any time the wind would be more than 11-12mph. Constant success, great deal, couldn't be happier. *HOWEVER* One time, ONE TIME!....the wind got the best of me. I stalked the weather app up to the end of the day, which is 6am. Felt good about it. Didn't feel the need to look at the following day yet, therefore didn't know there was a huge front coming in at 7-8, and woke up to a slightly mangled canopy with 2 broken legs. (I really was just happy to find it hadn't taken off to reign terror on the street below.) I duct taped the 2 bent legs to keep it standing properly, and it held up the rest of the season. However, when I went to collapse it in the fall, it would not budge. It could have been due to the duct tape, but visually it didn't seem to be affecting anything. Eventually we had to break it into pieces to get it off of my patio. Also, if it matters, the sun will fade it over time....but that is to be expected in constant direct sun. All of this said, I still want to buy another, and keep checking to see if it's back in stock. You have to know the weather conditions you're up against with anything like this and your environment - it's portable, it's like holding a giant umbrella in wind. Calm down with these overly criticizing reviews! Update: The following year I purchased the same brand, same size canopy - just the version without the netting, as I still had mine from the first one I bought. It definitely did not line up as well on the legs, which ended up tearing some of the Velcro ties irreparably. These legs seemed to angle out further than the first one that came with the netting, which I found kind of odd. But with no structural damage at the end of the season, it collapsed beautifully for me doing it alone. This time around I also used half cinder blocks to secure the legs instead of sand bags, which worked much better with wind.
