Love this thing. I was able to put it together by myself in a little less than an hour. No tools were needed since the bolts are all thumbscrews, but I did have a few where I used a ratchet just for extra tightening. When assembled it’s pretty sturdy, yet light enough to move into place. I’d suggest two people to move it only because of the size. The canvas roof seems thick enough that it should hold up well to the elements, but the sun here in Florida may effect how long it will last. If yours is going to be in direct sunlight like mine, I suggest getting som UV and waterproofing spray. The LED lights included are ok, but not really too bright. It does have a hook at the inside peak though, so you can easily hang a lantern in it for good lighting. Overall, very pleased so far. ... show more

Received my Grill Gazebo and started to set up for assembly. All parts were there however the metal bolts were all oxidized and had to be cleaned. Probably due to the shipping from China and the storage location before shipping. Also the large canopy has a tendency to collect water on one side which has to be raised in order to remove water build up. I'll have to devise something to keep the water from collecting. Aside from these minor issues I would recommend this Grill Canopy to my friends and family. ... show more

Instructions could have been a little more clearer, but we managed to get it put together fairly easily. It rained the night we got it put up and water "pooled" on the canvas, so now worried it might not hold it. Going to keep on an eye on it and hoping the sun drying it out will "tighten" the canvas back up so that we will not have a problem down the road. Update - in December we had some high winds and it blew the top part off, now we are without a "tent" topper. Maybe could have had a better construction for bolting the top down somehow. Trying to figure out how we can make the frame work and putting a different top/roof on it. ... show more

Once we got this canopy up… It was fabulous! However it was a little tricky to get it up… Assembly instructions could definitely be improved. Even larger depictions would help. Just wanted to make note that 2-3 people are needed for the final steps of assembly, and it should made clear that the 4 posts, when assembled look identical at first glance, but can only be put together in a single way, or else nothing else will fit in place properly. We bought this to use not for our grill… But for a cover over our winter chicken coop. I really like the final product, that’s why I generously gave it 5 stars. The polls and did sign are very sturdy and the The polls and design are very sturdy and the fabric top Is thick and nice…It is designed to provide shade And it definitely does provide shade… But it will also protect my chicken coop from snow and rain during the winter. It was fairly easy to put together by myself. No Complaints there. It is not very sturdy. I don't have high hopes that it will survive a heavy wind storm. We will see. The biggest problem I have with this is that I ordered it with a dark gray top cover. My initial disappointment was that when I opened the box, what they call "Dark" gray was actually a very light color, and not really gray. This thing looks almost Purple! Every other item on my house and deck are either black or some shade of gray. Black gazebo, light gray decking, light gray siding, dark gray shingles on my roof. Almost any shade of gray would have fit in to my colors, however this thing looks ridiculous! It is not any shade of gray! Its like a cross between purple with a little bit of burgundy red mixed in. And the worst part, as it gets more and more sun exposure...it's getting even more purple. I have had it up about 3 weeks so far and it gets worse as time goes on. I would have preferred to have a black top cover to match my existing Gazebo, but Dark gray should have been close enough. If only it was actually gray. My advice..........Do not buy and keep shopping. ... show more

Assembled canopy yesterday. Canopy looked fairly decent as assembled. However, frame was not as shown in product listing. (see attached photos). (1) The feet were missing the caps to cover the pegs. (2) Also,even though the vertical legs were square in cross-section, they did not come with the wider bottom sections as shown in the product listing. (3)The shelves were not support with a short brace section, though it might not need it. The included assembly instruction (see attached photo) did not include these items , so these items were not missing from package, but they were intended not to be part of the package by the seller. Overall product quality was acceptable for the price. However, the finish could be better for safety reasons, as there were sharp metal edges/points throughout, so wear light duty utility gloves when assembling. Instructions were decent. Overall, product looks like a cheaper version of what was shown in the listing, but for the price (discounted for the color I chose) it was acceptable. Remains to be seen how long this canopy will hold up. Will update review if significant development. BOTTOMLINE - A bit of bait and switch; even though the differences between actual product delivered and the product listing were not deal breakers (once assembled, most people would not feel like disassembling to return product), but nonetheless they could be factors that a reasonable buyer could distinguish to instead decide in favor of the competitions at competitive pricing.
