It covers the grill area really nice and it adds a little more shelving to the grill area for other items that you’re going to be putting on the grill or for serving and the lights, being magnetic….I like that you can place them just about anywhere….just don’t forget the batteries!!! I also like the variety of colors available!! It’s not heavy so 2 could move it fairly easy. You can bolt it down as it does come with anchor bolts but that does not take away from the fact it does wobble a bit if leaned on or against. It also comes with something similar to tent stakes but if you’ve got an extremely windy day it could come down. The other reason I bought it was to avoid having to get a grill cover to keep the rain off of the grill. Well, that didn’t work out so well as we had some rain and the condensation underneath the cover dripped onto the grill…oh well!! Still it’s better than having the hot sun burn on your back or in your face. I would definitely buy this again, and might consider buying another one for the other side of the deck. ... show more

Mounted the canopy over the grill and fastened it to the wooden deck with lag screws. It survived a hard rain with gusty winds of 30 mph. I’m not impressed with the thumbscrews used to assemble, however they did make the assembly quicker. It says it comes with lights, and it does. 2 battery operated magnetic lights, and they are useless! I ended up putting up string lights. The magnets weren’t strong enough to hold the lights to the frame. Had the assembly bolted had been bolts with lock washers and washers a 5 star rating would have been warranted. The lights, they’re junk, not worth wasting batteries in. ... show more

I like the way the top can be removed, if necessary, for high winds. My issues are with the very poor assembly instructions, plus the much-touted lights are useless. The lights are battery operated and are SUPPOSED to adhere to the metal frame; they don’t. Otherwise, I foresee a few years of honest service out of this canopy/gazebo. ... show more

2 people were able to set this up in about 45 minutes. We put it together "backwards" at first and had to take it apart and start again. All the screws were included and no cross-threaded problems. Photo instructions were ok. The canopy is easy to take off and put back on, with help from a 3 step - step ladder. The canopy also survived a thunderstorm. I would not recommend leaving the large canopy on all the time. So, this does just want it is designed for - grilling under a canopy in fair weather or mild rain.
