We got this for our daughter for Christmas. Upon opening it, we found various pieces were not included. I reached out to Abacus Brands customer service and they quickly responded to my issue. This was a great gift for my precocious 6 year old grandson. The VR glasses are great and well made. My grandson loved it. It says for 8-12 year olds. A parent definitely needs to help a 6 year old figure out how to use it. I wish they would provide a video for instructions. Read instructions before you give it to a child so you can show them if they have trouble using them. Experiments are pretty simple and safe. ... show more

It’s a cute concept but for the price, you are better off getting an experiments book from the library.

We fully intended on making this a Christmas gift, but with Thanksgiving being apart from our families this year, we decided to open this one early to enjoy over the break. I'm so glad we did! This is not our first "science kit" for kids, but it is by far the best. From the VR interaction with Bill Nye to the premium items included, this was a big hit with our children.
