These remind me of body weight squats because the first few seem so easy you think you can do them all day. You can't. A small clock is included to assist in your torture, but the effect of this abdominal exercise comes early. First you feel lighter, can articulate the world better, then the physical effects start to take root (along with the occasional compliment if you play your cards right). The secret, I think, is that it ISN"T an abdominal exercise, or not exclusively at least. It's a TOTAL CORE EXERCISE. You're developing supporting muscles and complimentary muscles just as much as your abdominals. This makes it both harder and much more effective. PLUS, you limit the risk of injury by having, for example, strong abdominals but a weak lower back. This DECOMPRESSES YOUR SPINE each time you go back, and articulating the spine is central to all health and motion practices if you think about it. Definitely does a number on the spine, but also tightens everything else up and, most importantly, keeps everything firing in order. Well Done. ... show more

I specifically bought this because it said it swivels, but it does not. There's nothing wrong with it, it was easy to put together, easy to use, isn't heavy, folds up, it's just not what I wanted.

    • Works but clearly cheaply made
So if you are looking for a cheaper option to add variety to your home exercise equipment then this is perfect. As someone just getting back into exercise, this was a great option for me to add equipment without breaking the bank. It does work. Even with short exercises, I can feel a nice burn in my abs. It is also significantly easier on my back and neck vs traditional sit up / crunches. The knee pad is comfortable enough. I personally would have preferred if it was completely flat (without the grooved spots for your shins). If it was flat, it would be more comfortable when I turn my legs diagonal to do side ab work. Folds up easily but it isn't very stable when propped up like that Dislikes: The welds are horrendous. They work but boy are they messy! Product arrived it several large scrapes in the finish in several spots. Was missing a nut (luckily I had a extra nuts on hand). Instructions are terrible! Luckily for myself, I've always been really good at building things but if you are a person who has difficulty with things like that, you may want to have some assistance ready. The rollers are not very smooth. You can definitely feel friction and a bit of wobbliness when in use. This doesn't reduce its effectiveness but it is a noticeable feeling. The timer .... holy moly an absolute waste! Extremely cheap! Does not clip on (just slides onto a bar) so it falls off when folding up the equipment. Overall: Cheap but effective. Its got flaws but it works. Great way to add equipment for home use. ... show more

Some assemble required but real quick and easy to put together . Took me less than 10 minutes. Very sturdy and secure once assembled, folds for storage but still takes up a sex wt amount of room even when folded. Comes with a stop watch which is kind of useless. Would be better if it had a phone holder. Easy to use kneel on it and crunch, there is no way to adjust the resistance but it’s still a great workout. Highly recommend. ... show more

it didnt take me very long to put this together, but the welding on this isnt too great and the sliding motion isnt super smooth because of it truthfully. it does work out my abs and get the job done, but for the price, i think i can find something with a bit better build quality. but for the current price, this does work and get the job done. it does workout my abs pretty well ... show more
