I have been an avid bicycle commuter for 20+ years. The Aipas A2 (standard) is my first foray into the e-bike world. I chose this particular e-bike after exhaustive research because it had excellent reviews, it was a reasonable price, and it appeared to be a purpose built e-bike (not a bargain basement bicycle with a battery, controller, and motor strapped to it.) The ordering was a breeze. It arrived quickly and undamaged. It was easy to assemble-set up. A charge and a few tweaks of my own (slime in the tires, torque check on the fasteners, etc.) was all it took to hit the road. I have to say I am favorably impressed. It is rock solid. It is smooth as glass. It has excellent range and every amenity you could think of. It is also very powerful. I am 250+ lb weightlifter and it holds up to my weight and power like I am nothing. Unlocked, it has some freaky speed. With the motor it has, plus some steam of my own I can push north of 28 mph on a flat. The only untested quality at this point is longevity and durability. Add to this, the company is attentive and follows up with you like they want your business, not just your money. A good product at a reasonable price with good customer service is rare these days. Good job Aipas. Update 4-29-24: Still very impressed. Control screen inexplicably died. They sent a new one quick and with no hassle. Rear tire started to fail at the bead line. Purchased two of these! Very easy to assemble right out of the box. Learning to work the bike was easy. Had it down in minutes. It’s a very comfortable bike to ride. Very sturdy. It is very heavy but I expected this. Battery life is long. I have had it out now on 4 adventures and see lots more in the future. The most I have ridden is about 30 miles at one time. It can get up to 20 mph but it rides at about 19, unless I am missing something. Has seven speeds. Can do manual or bike assist. I like the rack on the back. Very easy to mount to. Overall I think this is a great bike. I have hoped on to make a grocery store errand and taken it out for all day adventures. ... show more

GREAT Step Thru A-2 Bikes, Built really GOOD, GREAT Price & FAST shipping , Came undamaged & was easy to assemble, we added baskets & mirrors. & water bottle holder. Excellent value for the money. The bike came packaged very well with lots of protection. I love that it has blinkers , horn , and the LCD is amazing with all the information needed. The bike also has plenty of power and is very comfortable.

    • My first e-bike and I'm stoked!

I searched around quite a bit. And thought this fold-able bike would be good for me. I was worried about putting it together but was really surprised when I easily got it assembled. That was one of the major sales points for me. I had a couple of questions and customer service answered my messages quickly and accurately. They were patient with my questions (which in hindsight were pretty simple once you know the answers but they seemed like mountains to me). The bike is awesome. It took little time to get comfortable with it. But I'd only rode a Vespa before. It has enough power for me and once I was able to understand how to use Pedal Assist it became a dream machine. I like the way it looks, works and functions. Unlike some of the bigger bikes, once folded I can easily fit it in my Vanagon. I'm excited about summer and think my bike will so fun and useful. Edit: The company texted me and made sure that everything was good with my purchase and assured me that if there were any issues that they would help me with whatever I needed. That customer service wins me over and they have a customer for life! Way to go AIPAS!! Don’t let pictures and videos fool you. This Bike is A LOT bigger in person then what videos can actually show you. The ride on it is a breeze and so much fun. I’m not really a bike person. Not big on putting in so much effort with peddling. But with this e-bike, it is actually really fun to peddle. It’s amazing how you can peddle slow and still get it to go up to 28 mph while riding. It’s almost weird feeling and takes getting use to but is really sweet to ride. The cruise control is another lovely feature. This is my first ever e-bike and I have never even rode one before. The only draw back is there the keys are not used to actually turn it on. Only to take out the battery but it’s best to make sure you have a lock and an alarm also for it because anyone can turn it on and ride away. That’s a feature that show have been used for security. Other than that. The quality is solid and I weigh 235lbs and can do 28MPH on it as advertised. Wishes it went quicker with throttle but it’s definitely doable. Much funner then the Electric Scooter I had. This bike has good stability with the fat tires. I would highly recommend it!! ... show more
