Fits fine, like it should in our 2001 gmc 3500. Only issue so far: the upper left screw-in hose fitting (when looking at the unit from the front of the truck) was not threaded properly. Tried and tried to thread the fitting in, but no go. It would thread into the old unit just fine. Had to order an 18mm tap and rethread the port in order to get the hose fitting to thread in. This cost us an additional $15 and a week to have it shipped. I will update this listing if the unit begins to leak, if I have not updated, it is still fine. ... show more

    • Brakes dragging
I replaced my old one with this one. It looked the same, but the brakes dragged so bad it cooked the pads and rotor. I had to cut and grind my brake rod down to fit . This was listed as a direct replacement for my original one.
