The only disadvantage to these spindles, they come fully assembled but you have to remove the pulley in order to assemble them to your mower. Since there was no paperwork with them, you have to assume they are pre- greased or add a couple squirts of gear just to make sure

These spindles have sealed bearings and must be disabled, greased, and rebuilt before use. There was almost no grease inside the sealed bearing and the Zirk is useless unless the seals are removed. Know before you buy!

so far so good, ive only gotten a few hours on them. the mower i bought well used and cheap needed to spindles. i went ahead and replaced all three. so far theyre nice and quiet. *before installation, get the bearing part numbers off the new spindles, start searching for a higher quality brand name bearing. ... show more
