I got two of them. Six feet allows maximum flexibility without stress on the connectors with components that are grouped together. One connects the DVD player to the theater receiver, and one connects the theater receiver to the monitor. The work great!

Just now received this. Old one started getting glitchy in the video so I ordered a new one. Was in a white plasticky Amazon envelope and a more papery branded envelope inside that. The connections had little plastic covers to protect them also. It worked great right away with a clear picture and sound, and I love how flexible and bendy the braided cord is compared to the old style rubbery/plastic ones. I bought this to replace my Amazon High Speed HDMI cable due to issues I'm having with ARC on my new Samsung 4K LED. The ratings and the attached photos convinced me that this would serve my need. Sadly...no. The connector is plain, perhaps steel, perhaps aluminum, but definitely NOT Gold Plated. The braided cable is correct in the photo, the Gold ends are a lie. I already threw out the packaging or I'd be returning these for something else. Disappointing...but not surprising. Lot's of questionable material shipping from Amazon these days. ... show more
