First day the music stand was broke off. I am seriously so sick of the garbage you get nowadays. It can't even last one day! The sound quality is pretty good, but it turns on the max level everytime it is powered on, so I have to tell our kids every time they turn it on to turn it down. That is really frustrating too. For the money it is a pretty good keyboard otherwise. It is smaller than other 88 key keyboards I have seen, and definitely lightweight comparably. Overall the keyboard was good but after a few weeks I felt like the sound became distorted on certain keys. I returned it and bought another brand. I'm no pro so for my amateur ear to hear the echo means it was pretty bad. Don't write this one off tho. I still think it was a decent piece of equipment. ... show more

    • OK FOR THE NOVICE PLAYER
As an advanced piano player, I needed something that was portable & would fit into my small studio apartment. What attracted me to it was its "bright" sound. That being said, there were many other things I liked as well. PROS: --Lightweight & portable... came with a nice carrying case that had a handle or would fit well around your shoulders. --Built-in speakers didn't sound bad, and sounded even better with added speakers. CONS: --Key size was slightly off -- even though its advertised as "full sized". For some reason, I kept making LOTS of unwarranted mistakes on this keyboard, stroking unintended keys. I didn't measure the keys, but closer examination revealed that other keys were either extremely light weight and just came down with other keys, or the size of the keys was slightly off. Little amount of careful playing corrected this problem. I now have a new keyboard and I am not making said mistakes, so my theory proved correct -- for me. That was the main reason I moved on. --The volume is controlled digitally, so once the button stopped at one, for example, there was no real way to make it lower. The default volume began at level 15 which was HIGH, so unless you remembered to adjust the volume when you were ready to play, you were always "blasted" back into reality. --The record function has little memory, so you can't record and store a full song. This was a bummer to discover because the record capability was a major reason I bought it. --Since I had never owned a digital keyboard, I was overwhelmed with all the buttons ... Although it came with a manual, the instructions are not really clear and you are pretty much left to figuring things out on your own, I guess since the keyboard is made in China. Other than the factors mentioned above, this would be a nice keyboard for a novice player or someone who has not been formally trained on a real piano. It might be a good way to get ones feet wet. However, for someone whose more serious about learning the piano, I'd recommend a more substantial keyboard with (weighted-keys) and clearer operating instructions. ... show more

She wanted it to souls like a piano, I did not spend enough to get that. Otherwise it’s fine. So if you want a multitude of sounds this is good but the one we had in our older Hm we sold with the house is no comparison.

Good for getting back into it after a long time. Doesn’t come with a stand so it gets a bit inconvenient. That’s my fault for assuming it did.
