DO NOT buy this camshaft. It failed after 1 hour of operation. The camshaft apparently wasn't heat treated so both lobes wore down to the point that the valves would only open enough to allow the engine to idle. See the lobes on the camshaft on the right in the picture compared to the camshaft on the left. Keep in mind that this failed camshaft only had about an hour of run time. (Yes, it had brand new oil in the engine during this run time) ... show more

    • There is two different camshafts for the same year
There is two different camshafts for the same year on that engine one with an oil pump and one without oil pump , they are not interchangeable .

Replaced a part that was flat out broken and missing a gasket. Let’s hope this holds up better than the original. Gave it five stars even though the jury is still out on how well the lawnmower will continue to perform over time. And how long the parts will last.
