I use these mostly for touching up my makeup when I need to be more precise than a rounded q-tip would offer. Also great for ears if you have smaller ear canals. the sticks are a little shorter than q-tips and not as much cotton as them either. but they are good enough for cleaning up a messy home made manicure. well worth the money.
