I bought this floss because a customer wanted their logo in Chrome. This embroidery floss worked perfect to create that look. I hand embroider sneakers, so I wasn't sure how easy this would be to work with. It worked out really well. The floss is thicker than regular cotton. It is harder to get small details. I ordered these metallic embroidery flosses for my cross stitching. I decided to by this set which looked like a good quality floss and has very nice packaged on the picture.But unfortunately I received set of 9 metallic embroidery flosses which looked differently and hasn't got packaged except manufactured transparent plastic. Some colors don't match with original DMC colors, but it's OK. The threads feel a bit harsh to the touch, I'm afraid they can only be used to make cords for Christmas Stockings.
