Planted 29 Leyland Cyprus in 5 hours. 7 gallon pots. We used the 12 inch auger bit. The unit is not heavy with the 12 inch bit. Plenty of power from the motor. 72 CC engine is larger than most Amazon offerings. The bit ripped thru 1 1/2 and under roots,didn't hit any larger rocks. We used TWO people to do this , I tried it alone and when it hit a root it was not controlled, it hurt. Using two is the way to go with the large bit. The on off switch does get switched off depending on second persons hand position. Engine started on first pull every time. Wasn't a gas pig ,used half plus of the half gallon looking tank. Dirt is north east USA wet clay , tree root and wet spring dirt. When not hitting roots it drilled fast and easy with two people. I think I could have done myself with 12 inch bit with no roots. So - it works great ,its not stupid heavy and I didn't try the 4 or 8 inch bits. Two people made it a easy 29 holes. 7 gallon root balls a bit snug in the 12 inch holes ,so we will see how the trees do,no shoveling or steel bar digging. 60 year old and 20 year old son and I'm not sore the day after. ... show more

Bought this to set a temporary electric pole. Plenty of power to dig the hole. Started and ran super. For the price a good purchase.

Was given to me as a birthday present and was only able to start it once before the magneto went bad in it. Can’t reach anyone to try and get a new part to replace the magneto because I didn’t purchase it and no customer service that I know of or can find. Now just a big dust collector
