I love this cabinet! I wasn't sure before I ordered this if the storage doors would take space away from shelves inside but it doesn't at all. I bought a different cabinet also because I was afraid this one wouldn't hold enough and I wish that I had just bought 2 of these. Not only does it hold a lot but it is very sturdy and very nice looking the drawer inside is very nice also, I use it for my dish towels. I was able to fit my mixing bowls in the bottom which I was very happy about since I wasn't sure it would be wide enough. This pantry is actually really beautiful and aesthetic. It came well packed, is sturdy, made of solid wood, is well designed and will fit in well in any room actually. It is also not super heavy and has tons of space for storage. The assembly took longer than expected as there were a lot of small parts but totally worth the time and efforts. This box came with an Amazon gift card too, which I was happy to give to the person that assembled it for me. Thank you to the seller for that. This thing is pretty nice for the price. A couple of notes: did not come with a screwdriver, there are a TON of pieces (took me a day and a half to assemble), and I wouldnt store big jugs or canned foods in the top half. I have assembled many pieces of furniture because I used to run a crew that did just that. This has a decent design, doors line up, drawer quality is okay, shelves are pretty good, but it is just particle board. So even with the deep screws of the door hinges, they’re only seated in particulates, not solid wood. I honestly thought there would be a bit more bracing for the top unit and the pantry doors. But I think if only light stuff like cereals, oats, chips, stuff like that is placed in the door racks, then they should last a while. It is a beautiful unit and matches my family member’s rustic cowboy themed house nicely. He was happy with it. Instructions were pretty easy to follow. Just give yourself some space to lay everything out. And make sure you grab a phillips head screwdriver (or a power drill) in case your kit doesn’t come with a tool. Would I buy again? Ordered this to increase storage in our kitchen. Arrived quickly, and very well packaged. Despite that, two pieces had minor damage. Wasn’t an issue, both were not structural and you can’t see when build complete. Also, missing one dowel for the upper door shelves, but was able to modify with a plastic dowel I had. Took about 6 1/2 hours to build. Mostly by myself, need two people to secure the doors. Directions easy to follow if you are familiar with pin / cam construction. No words, just pictures, so might be challenging if this is your first time doing something like this. Overall, very happy with purchase for price. Provides lots of storage and seems pretty solid. I am a little concerned about the doors over time, as the hinges are crewed into particle board, however it is very tight and solid now, and this isn’t storage I will be accessing multiple times a day, so I think it will be fine. So, I bought this in May, but was finishing my Masters so I didn't really have time to build it until now. That combined with the fact that I had to clean the mess from the old one and get it out and this build was delayed. So, here goes. The cabinet is well made. It's sturdy and offers plenty of room when built. It's beautiful. I bought the rustic brown one as I prefer dark over light; it hides less and when you have kids, that's necessary. I saw comments that said they built it in 4 hours, but you're supposed to glue to little dowel rods into the boards and I didn't want to take a chance, so I glued those after I put the initial screws in (per the instructions) then I let the boards set overnight to let the glue set. The instructions are easy (for the most part) to comprehend and understand. There are 2 or 3 mistakes in them. These are minor and easy to circumnavigate but mine had them so be careful and pay attention on the off chance you get a book that has mistakes in the directions too. There are no words, just pictures. The only thing I don't like about this cabinet is the 3rd shelf down on the doors on top. On each side, the third shelf is held in by the brackets that hold the main boards inside the cabinet on the top and bottom. The shelves on the top and bottom are heavy and not meant to be on something that moves. When you move the doors on the top open and closed, I foresee these shelves falling out. There's nothing to hold them and I don't like it. You might be able to put a screw into each side of the shelf to hold it in place but watch this. Especially if you have kids that will half-hazardly swing it open to look. This could knock everything off that shelf when it tumbles. All in all, this was a good buy and I'm glad I stuck with it. I looked around for a few weeks at different places trying to find something I was satisfied with, and I don't regret the buy. Definitely easier with 2 people (my husband put the doors on and drawer together, I did the rest), but it's manageable with one person if you know your way around a screwdriver and Allen wrench, you should do fine. ... show more
