We moved into a smaller home and due to the lack of storage I bought two of these to put in my bedroom. It was easy to put together and it is nice and sturdy. We did use the wall piece to anchor it and it looks great.

    • Tough to put together
Pain in the ar se to put together. Looks ok after. But there are some glaring issues. First of all, the pieces were not all labeled. They thought it was ok to label some directly the piece and some on the packaging? Wtf? I had to do some insane forensic compstimng each piece to the pathetic picture provided. The schematic didn’t actually show both sides which was a hindrance to construction. It took so much time to compare the icees to the pictures and I still ended up changing places many times and sometimes had to deconstruct and do again. It was awful. At the end of the day wen it was put together it looks cheap in a lot of places. The white stickers to cover the holes where hardware is visible? Possibly worse than just seeing the hardware. Also, there are these weird holes on the top and unsightly brackets to anchor the thing to the wall. Have you ever seen L brackets on the top of a shelf meant up be anchored to the wall? I haven’t. It’s really ugly. Overall, looks ok but pretty dang cheap. I was asked immediately if it was that Swedish brand Embarrassing. Plus the holes on the top fur the terrible anchor system are gross. However, unless you are, I’d say, 5’7” or above you wouldn’t see it. My point is, you do you. It works. It’s pretty sturdy. But there’s also issues and people are mean. They’re going to think it’s <Swedish brand >. I guess it’s <Swedish brand> priced so that’s ok? It’s a good value but a pain in the bum. Can’t recommend either way but it looks nice in my corner. Holds about 10 Books average per shelf. ... show more

    • Sturdy and Adjustable
I got this shelf for some extra storage in my bathroom and it fit perfectly in the space I had available for it. This shelf is typical of diy furniture but it does stand out in a couple of areas. The finish on it is more of a laminated finish as opposed to the typical colored paper type and the shelf is very sturdy once assembled. It probably took a little longer to assemble than I would have liked but the design of it is what makes it so solid so it was a good trade off. Four of the shelves are adjustable with three different positions in each section which gives a lot of flexibility. This is not intended to be fine furniture and I am evaluating it on what it’s intended to be. My main considerations are the finish, sturdiness and adjustability, on these points I am fully satisfied and will get a lot of use from this shelving unit. If you are looking for function with decent quality I would recommend this shelf. ... show more
