Had to adjust front brake as it was rubbing against the brake pad. Changed the seat for more comfort even though it is little heavier. Changed to lighter pedals to compensate for this. Thinking of changing 700x25 tire to 700x32. Other than that, it is a great value for the money.

You should plan to spend $80+ to tune if you don't know how. Still, there is no "700c frames", as if the outer diameter of the wjole body. The center tube is what is important. The seller doesn't know the center tybe size. That is how we are fitted for a bike. Bikes at shops are tuned and that is why you'd pay more, they also know the center tube size. The seat adjustment clamp can’t hold the seat under my weight. I had to drill a hole through the adjustment shaft, run a bolt through, and nut the end before the seat became stable. I still have problems with the chain tensioner shifter. When I shift to upper crank, the chain fails to climb. I would have to try it about 3 or 4 times before the chain climbs. At top speed, I pedal faster than my buddy who rides an 18 speed bike. But his bike moves faster than my 24 speed. Maybe the chain needs tensioning so that one revolution of the crank can convey the power that drives the bike a lot faster. ... show more

This is the most lightweight bike I ever rode. It is excellent for going uphill, thanks not only to its weight, but also to its great 24 gear system. Overall, it is a great bike for its price, although some parts seem to be low quality. The seat is not very comfortable, but better seats would be heavier, so I stick with this one. The screw that holds the seat broke in like 2 months of use, I had to buy a new one. ... show more

I replaced the seat and pedals but other than that the bike is exactly what I need for carrying a heavy backpack up steep hills.
