Okay this is a four out of five stars on just about all fronts. It's almost perfectly sturdy, the cover is not a hard cover it's flexible cuz it's laminated. The pages are thick but not quite thick enough if you use certain markers they will bleed through. Also the coil gets in the way if you fold it certain ways which is annoying because the cover will start to pop off since it's removable. But I have never had one of her journals before and it is beautiful. the paper is nice to write on the bullets are much easier to doodle on and write on than lines or graph paper or blank. The cover is very cheerful and helps your mood and it comes with some nice stickers in the back. The laminated covers are also supposed to be writable but I've tried dry erase and washable markers and both leave a residue that I have to take off with a magic sponge. I haven't tried the wet erase that they talk about, but her website doesn't give you an instructions on what to use anyways which it really should. But I'm very happy with my purchase I've already filled about 50 pages in a few weeks. ... show more

I LOVE the thickness of the pages (purchased for taking notes on sermons at church and bible journaling) and the design on the cover, but the cover itself is not properly fitted. The plastic "teeth" do not seem to be long enough for this size coil. I love that the coil is metal but the trimmed piece of the coil on the bottom of the notebook is is either too long or not properly placed. As a result, I cannot write flatly on the back of the pages if flipped all the way over. That is annoying. There is a big lump on the bottom, which makes writing comfortably impossible. If the cover worked right, the sturdiness would be first class. If it wasn't for the coil issues (love that the coil is metal) I would love this. I wanted to love this notebook, but this cover makes me sad, but despite my research. I could live with the metal coil not being properly cut if the "teeth" issue wasn't so bad. That's why the rating so low. The pages are great, but cover is not! ... show more

I got this from my wife she's into bullet journaling. She really liked the notebook she wish it had a built-in envelope for it but for a few extra dollars you could buy the self adhesive folders for it which is a bit of a downer but it worked. The papers are pretty thick so you can use some markers on it and it won't bleed through. It's quite big so that was what my wife was looking for and she enjoyed it. The biggest downside is where the paper can be torn off is quite delicate so a few of the pages that I didn't want to tear off did. So a few pages I had to put tape on it so it wouldn't tear off. I write a lot I mean, 5-8 notebooks at a time from running my own business, dealing with clients, personal work, and more. This notebook is the one I trust with my personal things. I have sat down and accidently let loose a cap of ink on it and the page stood the test. I have used so many different styles of ink it is crazy and it doesn't bleed through. I love how thick the pages are. I love the size of the dot grid. I love the feel of the notebook, and the heft it has. Not thrilled. I was expecting it to be a dot grid for a bullet journal (as it is also listed as being dot grid) and instead I received a sketchbook with fully blank pages. The paper does seem thick to withstand markers, and the cover is pretty, but really wish it was dot grid.

I am so disappointed in this journal. I decided to spend the extra money and get an Erin Condren, thinking that it would be of good quality. I finished my first page and IT SHOWED THROUGH to the next page. I will only be able to write in one side of the journal! Do NOT recommend this journal.

Sturdy spiral binding. Solid laminated covers with a beautiful design. Decent number of pages. I love the esthetic of the dot-lined note book. Helps make note taking easier and more organized for visual learners. I've been using a 5mm pen and have had no bleed through.
