This is a great all season comforter set. You either love or hate microfiber - I happen to love it and this microfiber comforter is extremely soft and silky on the skin. The comforter itself is just right and can be used throughout the year without having to worry about being to hot or getting cold. The only thing that doesn't really work for me are the pillowcases and pillow shams - I understand king pillowcases and shams for a king sized comforter but I use queen sized pillows, so I can't really use them (unless of course I take them in a little bit - which I'll probably do). This set is great. It isn't what I would call "lightweight," but it is super comfortable and will be really great for the winter time. The sheets are microfiber, and very soft to the touch. The comforter is comfortable and keeps you very warm. It also comes with 4 pillow cases, so except for a bed skirt (if you prefer to have one), it is a complete bed set so that you can have all the pieces match instead of my usual tendency to have random sheets, blankets, and pillow cases cobbled together every time I change the bedding. ... show more

I [RECOMMEND] this bed-in-a-bag set. Great for transitioning into hotter weather. Pros: ~Lightweight ~Fitted and flat sheet included ~4 pillowcase, 2 of which are shams (king sized) ~Washable, and washes up in a standard home washing machine ~Soft Cons: ~None, but it is microfiber soft - if you don't like the feel of microfiber, it might be an issue _____ I am very happy with this set. We are starting to heat up for the summer and I needed to switch out to a lighter comforter. It is a soft set, lightweight, and thin. Lightweight and thin were important so that I could wash it at home regularly and so that I could utilize it as a duvet insert in colder months. I don't use a flat sheet as part of my set-up, but I do use flat sheets as bed toppers over the comforter. The pillowcases are king-sized, but if you don't have king size pillows (I do not), it is easy to tuck the pillowcase into itself to envelope around your pillow. ... show more

Sometimes with differing textures/materials the shade of black varies. With this bundle everything matches. The comforter appears to be light, but it is very warm. I thought it would be a good lightweight option for summer, but it’s definitely made with material worthy of winter. I still keep it on my bed, but keep it rolled down when I go to sleep. Super high-quality. The kind of blankets you’d expect to see at a really nice AirBNB. Maybe not hotel quality, but close enough to it that it wouldn’t surprise me to find a hotel with these on the beds. It’s a nice deep color and washing it doesn’t seem to have had any ill effects. It’s tough to find a good comforter for the summer since it gets hot but this comforter definitely does the trick. Not too hot in the summer, and keeps you warm during the occasionally chilly 4am to 7am hours before the sun has fully risen and started warming up the planet. And for the price, it really can’t be beat. I’d expect to be looking at a price tag twice this amount for this set, especially with the size I got. ... show more
