  • Works as expected!
They are calibration weights. What can I say about them, lol. I bought them in case my scale ever needed to be calibrated. They are what I expected. They appear to be quality. They are weights, lol.

  • Was broken when received, but I could fix easily.
The bottom was broken off of one of the weights when I received. Glued it back on. Works fine!

  • Honestly amazed at the accuracy for the price.
These are all dead on except the biggest one, which is 0.1 grams heavy. I work at a university and was able to check them on a very good scale.

  • These weights worked for me
I had a 50 lb order of raw cashews to split up and wanted to make sure my scales were accurate. I had tested it using water in a measuring cup and it seemed good but I wanted to check smaller weights so ordered this set of calibration weights. When I checked the scales using the weights I first cleaned a pair of large tweezers with rubbing alcohol and used them to pick up the weights to avoid getting fingerprints on them (I think this was way overkill). The scales were set to g/kg mode. The 1 gram weight didn’t register at all, but the 2 gram weight did and it read 2 g. Adding the 1 g weight gave 3 g, this worked as hoped for all the weights. This doesn’t prove the weights are accurate, but they are consistent and match what the scales read. Both the weights and scales could be off but not too far since the water in the measuring cup gave the expected value. I didn’t correct that test for temperature or for using tap water instead of distilled water but that should be minor. Splitting up the 50 lbs of raw cashews gave another check on the weights. My scales only goes up to 11 lbs so the full order couldn’t be checked directly. To keep things easy I wanted to divide up the order into $10 bags and I wanted to work in grams to get the most precision. Assuming the order was actually 50 lbs and using the total cost including shipping, a $10 zip lock bag was 1207 grams (net). Half a cashew was about a gram in case you’re interested. Ended up with 18 full bags and 956 g remaining which totals up to 50 lbs and 0.084 oz. This looks good but it’s still circular reasoning since I assumed the 50 lbs. One more test was using Nickels, they weigh 5 grams each. The scales showed this to be the case, 6 nickels added up to 30 g, so I think my scales are accurate and so the weights are also to the limit I can measure them. So I’m happy with them. ... show more
