This is a great scale. I tested it with some known weights, and it's accurate enough for shipping packages for sure. The weight reading is stable, and the weight doesn't wander around. There's a couple of different modes. pounds, pounds and ounces, and kg. I have the 200kg model. that's weigh more than I need. Pun intended. I bought the 200kg one for the size, which is better for larger packages, even if they don't weight a lot. There's some rubber or silicone feet on the bottom, and they appear to work well. The unit is physically stable and does not have a tendency to tip. You can either drop a couple of AAA batteries (not included) in there, or use the male to male USB cord and a standard phone charger (included). The display is big and bright, which is plus for me. Yes, this is a few bucks more than the smaller one. It's also a way better scale for those few dollars. Having this one now, I don't know why I hung on to the older smaller one that I just replaced. Save yourself the 'upgrade later' penalty - just buy this one now. *Also, why aren't bathroom scales this good? ... show more

Bought this for a sign shop that makes stickers to easily count sticker units. It does great and gets within 1 unit accurately, but is not perfect. If I put a stack of 49 stickers on it, it may count them as 50, so there's a lot of double checking involved (we usually just throw an extra sticker in once the scale says 50 to be safe) Can't really complain though, a comparable scale from Uline is about $300, so this is a wonderful deal that gets close enough. Turns on instantly, reads extremely quickly, etc. Haven't used it with batteries yet but love that we can move it around the shop if needed without needing a power outlet. ... show more

Very accurate and easy to use. All parts included, ac adapter and all. Packaging well made to keep as permanent storage if you don't use it regularly. Bought two of them and they both measure a known weight to thr nearest. 01 ounce. Actually found the Max weight is 700lbs before it claims overload. Excellent deal. I used for a while one of those bathroom scales and I had numerous issues about the accuracy and repeatability of the measurements. For that reason I was considering to buy a Medical Office Beam Scale and the price, size and appearance was a turnoff. I was using for many years a Digital Postal Scale made by Pelouze that performs excellent in regards of repeatability and accuracy, however that scale goes to a max of 65Kg, not enough for my weight. I decided to buy this Amazon Basics Digital Postal Scale that goes up to 200Kg. First thing I did when I received it was to compare with my Pelouze scale using a 61Kg log. The difference I got was less than 100mg in between the 2 scales. Both scales measurements tests shows high level of repeatability. Amazing range of measurements. I use it to measure the weight of my phone which was 250g. I compared the reading with my kitchen scale which read 259g. All this give me confidence of having accurate readings of my weight with Amazon Basics Digital Postal Scale. I highly recommend it and I am so happy that I bought it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great multi purpose scale. It can take a good amount of weight. It's pretty durable and it functions exactly how I need it to. It's great for tracking weight or calculating shipping.
