  • Great light!
Lights are super bright. Before I didn't ride at night because my stock halogens wouldn't light up anything so I could barely see. Not anymore. These things are awesome. Super crisp light. Light up the road and no more risk of not being able to see. Install was a breeze, perfect fit in the bezel of my ultra classic. Install time was About 5 minutes. Installs right into the factory harness. I didn't wire in the halo but now I'm thinking I may add it. Very pleased with their performance. I'd expect to pay $250+ from Harley so these are really a steal for thw price. They look good and the black blends into the black paint on my front fairing and is just set off with the chrome ring. So it looks really clean. Super satisfied. 10/10 ... show more

  • works great
My husband needed a new headlight for his roadglide. He picked this one and says it works great! The light was easy to install and is bright and clear.

  • Narrow High Beam
This LED headlight is nearly a direct form/fit/function replacement for the original headlight on my 2013 HD Road King Classic. Although the connector plug fits directly into the wiring harness on the motorcycle, it does not latch or seal like the original does. Two extra wires for the white and yellow halo ring lights on this headlight would also need to be manually wired into the motorcycle's wiring harness in order to function, but I did not take the time to wire those in during initial installation. (The Yellow wire is for the amber halo ring, while the Red wire is for the white "daytime running light" halo ring.) No wiring diagram or installation instructions were included, by the way. The headlight provides good illumination, overall. The attached photos show the original headlight at low beam, LED light at low beam, original high beam, and LED high beam, in sequence. Each photo was taken with identical aperture and exposure settings to enable a fairly direct comparison. This replacement headlight seems to have a lower focus point than the OEM headlight, but a quick adjustment of the headlight frame can compensate for that factor. The biggest drawback to this replacement headlight is that the high beam illuminates a significantly narrower field of view than the OEM light does. It will take some extended night riding for me to determine whether or not this is a limitation sufficient to be a deal-breaker, but given that I prefer to ride twisty roads, it does raise some concern about failure to illuminate far enough into turns to provide adequate safety. I will update this review if that turns out to be the case. Other than the narrow high beam issue, however, this product seems like an excellent replacement to the original. ... show more

  • Decent passing light, but.
Ah, the adventures of outfitting my Indian Roadmaster with LED lights continue! This latest addition marks the third installment in my quest for illuminated perfection. Let's shed some light on the situation, shall we? The beam pattern of this LED light is, well, decent at best. The passing light is reasonably OK with sharp cutoff and decent illumination, but when it comes to the high beam, things take a bit of a nosedive. It's like trying to brighten up a dark alley with a pocket flashlight - sure, it helps a little, but it's not exactly setting the world on fire. The high beam barely scrapes past the cutoff line and is about as narrow as a politician's promise, offering little in terms of down road visibility. It seems that this style of headlight, tends to fall short in the performance department. ... show more

  • Old school upgrade.
Old school means my 38-year-old Harley which I bought new and the 68-year-old me. I have been reluctant all these years to change over to LEDs for those simple reasons. I have always run with my bright light and spots on disregarding how it affects other drivers. I want to ensure they see me because, to most drivers, motorcycles seemingly are invisible. Riders reading this know exactly what I'm referring to since they have had cars pull right out in front of them too. I also have straight pipes so if you don't/can't see me, you should hear me. Even with my bright light always on, day or night, it happens all the time. I am breaking away from my old-school ways and see this as an upgrade and perhaps a lifesaver. The installation of this light was quick and easy and the fitment was perfect. The spread of the beam covers the full width of the road and the light is white which does help me see further out. I also think the white light is simply more common and noticeable to other drivers these days. The angle-eye ring is cool too. Yup, I still burn the high beam all the time just in case the other drivers are not paying close enough attention while on their phones. ... show more

  • Best pattern yet.
I have tried a few of these led projection headlights and will never go back to halogens or stock on my Harley. I like the dark blackout background because it's not as "spaceship" looking as some led's on the market. This one has a great high and low beam patterns, maybe the best coverage so far. If my Gopro wasn't broke I could take a video, so sorry. I replaced another LED with this one for testing and I think I am just going to leave this one here. True high / low beam not just a different set of lights for each. Makes driving at night like daylight out front and to the sides without blinding other drivers. Five stars. ... show more

  • Love the Halo, used on Honda Tour
Bought this headlight to match the auxiliary lights that I purchased for my 1100CC Honda Tour. I bought this specifically for the halo even though my bike does not have built in DRLs. Was very happy to find out the main plug also powers the halo so I didn’t have to do any extra wiring to get it working. It has an extra wire for the DRL halo should your bike not power it with the standard plug, or want it powered separately from the high/low beam. I plan to do this when I add a switch to disable my high/low beam to mimic the DRL. ... show more

  • Bright But Doesn't Fit All Bikes
Plugged it in and I was excited to see how bright it is. Then I realized it won't fit any of my bikes (I have two different Kawasaki Vulcans and a Honda Valkyrie.) I gather it fits a lot of Harleys and a lot of Metrics - unfortunately not mine. (sad face) Shown is a headlight from my Honda and another from one of my Vulcans. You can see that they need to have attachment lugs. There are none on this headlight (see photos from other reviewers.) ... show more
